Great camera and easy setup!
I have used WiFi security cameras in the past, but never ones with two-way communication capabilities so I was excited to give this one a try. At it’s price point of just under $30, it was definitely worth a try and I am happy to report that it works great!Setup -Setup was very simple using your phone, running the free Nooie Cam app. You first need to verify that your phone is connected to the 2.4Ghz access point in your home where you will be using the camera. You then simply start the Nooie Cam app and select the +Camera button. You select the Nooie Cam Indoor 1080P option and it will walk you through the remaining, simple steps. Basically, you assure the camera is on, enter the password for the wireless access point/router your phone is connected to (this is the same one you will be connecting the camera to), click Next, and a QR code appears on the screen of your phone. You now hold the screen of your phone in front of the Nooie camera’s lens and it provides an audible tone and LED light indicator when it is finished reading the QR code. The app will now inform you that it is pairing and will begin a countdown. When complete, the app will inform you that pairing has completed. It’s that simple.Use -Now that the camera has been added, you simply select it to view the camera. To hear audio from the camera, you select the speaker icon within the app and now you are able to see and hear what’s going on around the camera. The camera also has a built-in speaker that allows you to press the microphone button within the app and then speak through it. This is very useful depending on where you locate the camera. For example, I have the camera in my garage which would allow my family to use the app to let me know when I’ve been working on my car or other projects for too long. I can then respond “Just five more minutes” and be heard. ;)Video and audio can be recorded to either a microSD card or to the cloud. Cloud storage is a paid service. Given my usage, microSD recording is fine for me so I haven’t tried the cloud storage option. MicroSD recordings are easily accessed through the app via a scrollable tape across the bottom of the screen. You select the day and then scroll through to the time you would like to view.Like other security cameras, you can also setup notifications based on sound and/or motion. This too is easy to configure by selecting None, Low, Medium, or High for each option and then selecting the timeframe that you would like to receive notifications. Note that you can enable disable notifications by day, but each day only has one start time and one end time that can be selected. Meaning, you cannot setup notifications from 8am-5pm and then again 10pm to midnight for the same day. You could do one or the other, but not both. I don’t see this as a problem for me, but it’s worth noting depending on your use case.There are two additional notable settings. First is the ability to enable/disable audio recording. I haven’t done much testing with this, but I’d imagine this could save some space on your microSD card, allowing you to possibly record more video if disabled. Second is the ability to enable/disable the small LED light on the camera. If you placed the camera in a visible location in your home, you may want to disable the LED to avoid the distraction of it. For my garage location, I prefer to have the LED on to act as an added deterrent.Customer Service -I reached out to Nooie’s customer service prior to purchasing this camera with a number of questions. I received quick, thorough responses the same day, shortly after I had sent them. I worked with Julia who was great to work with. Very friendly, personable, and understanding. Julia’s customer service was great and made the decision to purchase this camera a complete no-brainer. As I’m sure many of you know, when you have questions or something goes wrong you really find out what a company is made of. I’m happy to say Nooie’s support is great!Summary -This camera works great and has clear video. The two-way communication capability is an added bonus and could open up its use to more than just a security camera. I am definitely glad that I gave this camera a try. It will work well in my garage for added security as well as the ability for my family to communicate with me while I’m working in the garage.Video Summary -I attached a video that shows the camera’s ability to adjust to different lighting scenarios. I have a garage door opener in my garage that provides limited light as well as ceiling mounted LED lights with fluorescent-style diffusers that provide a good amount of light for working. The video shows how the camera adjusts to the different lighting of these plus daylight backlighting and all lights off. The audio doesn’t exactly line up with the video. My phone apparently had trouble when rendering the video and it offset the sound a bit.

It even displays well in the dark – excellent sharp image! You have to option to insert a microSD card to record, and you can also take still shots and record videos from the app as well as watching real time from the app. The camera will also send notifications to your phone to alert you of activity. This was especially helpful when I was traveling.The setup is super easy and you can move the camera from room to room if need be and the wifi will pick it up right awayI love it and I highly recommend it! Thereâs also a volume option so you hear whatâs going on and thereâs also a microphone that allows you to speak into the app and it plays on the device. It came in handy one time when my boy became particularly anxious when a delivery was arriving. I was able to talk to him and calm him down.

So I bought this camera about a year or so ago because my youngest started sleeping in her crib/bed and she shares a room with her big sister. Although I feel secure with her being in there with someone, it still didn’t ease the fact that I needed to see her and hear her incase she woke up in the middle of the night looking for me (which she still does cause she’s only 2). I get notifications if she moves or makes a sound, although sometimes I don’t get the notifications at all and have yet to figure out why it is on and off, but I watch the camera through the night so I will hear her even if I get a notification. Overall I believe it is a great, affordable and comforting device with great picture quality, no lagging the setup is easy, I can zoom in and out to be extra nosey and so far I’ve loved it…despite the notifications issue ð

Great baby and pet monitor!
I purchased a few Nooie products in the past and just recently purchased this one for our living room and it works great! Iâm able to watch my pets as well when not home. Set up was very easy and took less then 5 minutes. App is easy to use, and quality of image is clear. Motion and sound detection can be easily turned on or off and ability to view at night as well!

It was a little challenging to get my internet setup and make sure I was only broadcasting 2.4ghz but once I was able to get that going the instructions to setup were really clear and direct and quick to follow. I did reach out to nooie support which is an email service and they were very prompt with responses within 24 hours I would typically get responses around 3-4am est. The only aspect as I got the nooie 360 first is that I cant just rotate the angle of the camera and I knew this before getting it just a note to keep in mind. The quality is great as you can see, it’s very easy to see my cat and zoom in and there’s no lag. Great work nooie!

Nos gusta mucho la camara, tenemos más de una.Se ve muy bien tanto de dÃa como de noche . Y el sonido en ambas direcciones es bueno.Desde la app puedes manejar todas las cámaras. La cuanta de la app solo se puede abrir desde un dispositivo, pero tiene la opción de invitar a mas cuentas para que pueden ver a la vez las cámaras. Solo la cuenta principal puede encender y apagar las camaras desde la app.Puedes sacar fotos y videos que se guardan en la galeria del dispositivo.Tener una SD puesta en la camara (viene incluida con la camara) te da la opción de poder ver grabaciones de dÃas anteriores. Pudiendo usar la cámara también como seguridad no solo para bebés.
