This is a great fit for my ring doorbell gen 2. It comes with foam pieces that can give your ring a nice, snug fit in its new home. In the pictures you can see how I placed the foam. Thin pieces on the sides and bottom and thick pieces on top and back. Also if you do this and cut out a small foam piece on the back, the charging port is open for easy charging. If you are concerned about water getting in the back, then I would not cut the foam around the charging port so it stays covered. It is easy to install. I installed one on a metal fence post.

The only down fall about it is the arm, it’s not very long. But other than that, it works just fine. I like how there is no screw at the top to where someone can just unscrew it and steal the cam that way. My other mount had that. I bought this one because it does not block the sensor like my other one started too out of nowhere.
