    Easy Setup- Amazing Product- Works Great.
    I purchased the Pass & Seymour Netatmo Smart Outdoor Camera to help monitor my home. Installing the camera was easy and no different from any other hardwired light fixture. I loved how Netamo added the wiring block to ease the wire connections. I set my camera up to replace a light fixture in the soffits near my roof. As a result, I hung it essentially upside down. Don’t worry; within the Netamo security app, you can easily have the image flipped over to show the correct orientation. Setting up the device was also easy; the camera found my wifi and connected without issue. The camera needs to be updated once connected. When I noticed it was updating, I gave it about an hour, then returned and finished setting it up, including adding it to my Apple Homekit. The built-in siren is fantastic and comforts me, knowing that with the push of a button on my app, I can scare away unwanted guests.These are very smart cameras indeed. It detects animals, humans, and cars; the app allows you to choose which to get notifications on and a zone in which to receive notifications. Overall, I am impressed that the camera is attractive, easy to set and use, and well-made.Excellent job, Netatmo!

    The worst purchase I made.
    I bought these cameras excited for my new house, but honestly, it hasn’t gone well at all. There’s not much support information available or anywhere you can call, integrating them with Apple Home Kit is a headache, they keep disconnecting from WiFi all the time, and they stopped recording in Apple Home for no reason. I’ll never buy anything from this brand again; the support is terrible, and the user experience is awful.

    HomeKit Secure Video
    I would have given this camera 5 stars if not for a few problems. I initially had issues with HomeKit Secure video not recording. This has been remedied in a software update. I also had reliability issues with the connection. A mesh point in our detached garage gave the device a stronger signal. I do wish the siren was exposed in HomeKit, but you have to use the manufacturers app to activate it. Aesthetically, I quite like the look of the camera.

    Meh
    We bought this camera because it works with Homekit Secure Video and we are already deep in the Apple ecosystem. So far so good. However:1) Very expensive2) Low resolution compared to cameras half its price3) All of its features aren’t available to Homekit! This is the galling part. We spent the extra for the version with the siren, and it is NOT accessible via Homekit. Netatmo, if the whole reason for buying your product is that it is Apple-ready, how does this make any sense?!It’s working fine and we will definitely keep it. If you are considering this, only get it if you are wedded to Homekit. Also, save the money and get the one without the siren.

    I have a few Netatmo products. Now including multiple cameras.They’re great for keeping an eye on your house. checking for porch pirates, seeing if your packages actually got delivered, as well as just seeing who’s knocking on your door “oh look a solicitor! Not answering that!!”The cameras have no subscription fees, and are easy to wire to your home, and set up on your phoneHighly recommended

    Failing after four months
    After four months the light is failing.Recording to iCloud does not work.When the light does work, it flickers about every two minutes, which is annoying and seemingly cheapo.Pretty easy install.Useless but attentive support. Still sucks. Buy something else.Edit: as of July and a number of app & firmware updates I WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. It is too expensive and does not perform the functions described, or does them poorly. The floodlight still flickers, the auto on/off floodlight function works until it doesn’t and you have to reset it. Maybe that sounds like a small deal, but it is a very bright light. So essentially if you buy this you have a $450 super bright light flashing on the front of your house advertising two facts: the French are not great when it comes to smart technology; you are now telling everyone via flashing light that you bought it.Also, Video does not record to iCloud. Many things do these days, this is absolutely not one of them. Further, their support in this area is essentially, “Go tell Apple”.Get something that works and has people that care supporting it. This is not that product.

    Security App no longer recognizes installed devices
    I have 6 cameras and can no longer access any of them through the iOS version of the Security app.The Security app no longer recognizes any of my 3 cameras and wants me to do the very painful initial setup all over again. Netatmo needs to fix this issue immediately!
