    Love the light, missing one MAJOR feature. (Moved from 4 to 5 stars!!)
    Edit: Moved from 4 to 5 stars!! I ordered a 2nd one. I found a way to trigger/change settings the light with my bot! (streamerbot)Love the light, great features. Works very well for photography and streaming! I can control the light from my phone, pc and my streamdeck HOWEVER I can NOT get the light to be triggered via twitch events. It is all manually controlled. It would get perfect 5 stars across the board if it would work with streamerbot or allow some way to AUTO trigger scenes/settings. Please update software 🙂

    Great but not great for streamdeck
    The streamdeck app does not work right and makes all the lighting have a green cast to it. EVERYTHING ELSE about this light is awesome tho and I think it’s a great value. I have confidence in Neewer to eventually fix the streamdeck plugin. The regular app works just fine and I love the feature where you can color match. I’m very happy with it, but I do hope an update comes out so I can use my streamdeck with it at some point. Its still a good value even without that feature so don’t let that hold you back because I am sure it will eventually be fixed.

    Love this light and will be ordering another
    I’ve got it teamed up with the Neewer Overhead Camera Mount, and let me tell you, it’s fantastic. This light is super versatile. During the day, it brightens up the whole room, but when I need to snap some product shots, I can easily tweak it for just the right lighting. It’s perfect for illuminating my workbench when I’m tinkering away. Plus, it doubles as ambient lighting at night, and the best part? I can control it from my computer, phone, streamdeck, or right from the light itself.

    UPDATED REVIEW
    I bought the Neewer Bluetooth dongle and it 100% fixed my issues! Unfortunately the lights do not work with onboard bluetooth and only their specific dongle… I wish they would have included it as without it the lights do not function as intended.PRIOR ISSUE:I was excited to find an RGB light that would work with a Stream Deck. But the down side is, in the past 6 months of having this light it has only worked for a few moments a handful of times. Not reliable at all!The 2.5 dongle connection works fine, however you can not use the Stream Deck plugin with this connection type.The wifi is terrible, it rarely detected my router (in the same room, and I don’t have hardly any wifi devices connected to it). When it does get a connection the connection randomly keeps dropping (while my Elgato lights have no issues connecting via Wifi or keeping their connection).I was then told I could use the stream deck plugin with a bluetooth connection to the lights… I have bluetooth built into my pc and it is working great with other devices… however every time I attempt to connect to bluetooth with the Neewer Control Center app it just tells me “no Neewer Bluetooth Dongle Found” and directs me to an Amazon link… I can see the light show in my OS’s bluetooth menu for available devices, I pair it there as well and yet the Neewer software will not connect and simply wants me to buy their specific bluetooth dongle… It’s maddening. I like the hardware I just wish they could figure out their connection issues.I will change this review if their support ever manages to help me out with solving this… until then I spent $200 on a light I can not even control.

    Desk clamp has limited utility.
    I have a relatively dark office and noticed that on video calls. I ordered this product, but never got the chance to see how it worked because the desk clamp requires at least two inches of flat surface on the top and bottom of the desk edge. My desk is older, and has a scalloped edge so there was no way to secure the clamp. I thought briefly about having an inch cut off the bottom edge of the clamp, but decided that was too much work. I ordered another product that is held in place with a weighted circular base. Returned this product to Amazon.

    Bright, even light, solidly built – all metal enclosure. Sweet clamp-on bracket.
    Bracket: All metal with a base that can be set for a variety of thicknesses. Clamps securely to almost any surface – you’ll just need about 2″ of overhang. There’s a decent medium-duty ball head so the light can be positioned where you want. Plus there’s height adjustments.Power: Very good quality power brick – I provided a photo of the specs. With a decent battery pack you could make this portable.Control: Seriously – what’s not included? There’s an app for your tablet or phone. Software for your desktop. Full set of controls including a touch-panel on the rear.Light: The light itself is the size of a large tablet, but much heavier. The light is very soft and even. No glare or hotspots. It’s great for foreground, subject or background illumination (color washing a wall for example.)The music sync is a nice feature – it uses a mic on the rear of the light. Response is based on pitch and volume. I can see it being handy for parties, etc. but not much use for streaming since it’s not controlled by games, etc. – it would be amazing to have explosions produce orange light, etc. but that’s not what the light is for.100% recommended, especially if you have other Neewer lights. They’re all part of an integrated system that can be app and software controlled to an amazing degree.

    iphone app is terrible, constantly doesn’t connect
    Have 2 of these lights. The lights are great, bright, etc. However the iphone app is terrible. You have to re-add the light each time you use it if your phone leaves bluetooth range (e.g., you leave the house). Almost a deal breaker and not worth it. (as of Q1 2024)There is no PC app, must use iphone or android to control the light remotely. Can manually use dials on the back of the panels as well.

    Super adjustable in every way, (height, tilt, brightness, colour, etc), and very easy to set up. I’m very happy with this light. It is very heavy duty and not flimsy at all. The pole is adjustable so it can be rather tall if you need as well, and the light panel itself is a good medium size that should fit in most people’s setups.
