    Adjustable, Bright, and Compact… Ideal for Video and Photography
    This light is thin, lightweight, and very bright, making it convenient for on-the-go setups. It takes standard NP batteries, which is helpful if you already have them for other gear. … It doesn’t replace a softbox and can create slightly harsher shadows, but that is ok, depending on your use… it works well for lighting a green screen, scenes, or subjects. With adjustable color temperature and brightness, this light provides solid control, and you can power it with either batteries or an AC adapter. Neewer is known for reliable quality, and this light fits that standard. Overall, it’s a practical choice at a reasonable price.

    I like that these lights are self contained (battery) and are lite and relatively small. Having purchased cloth containers I interred some Kiasan Foam and created a nice storage unit (I also used the foam that came with the shipping materials (recycle smartly).Would I purchase another set? Yes.

    Great lights
    Used these on a set of work lamps I made copying the Adam Savage Loc Line lights. They are nice and lightweight and put out a lot of light. Only complaint is I wish the battery lasted longer.

    My new fave light
    I usually use a ring light, but I got this a few months ago and primarily use this now! I love that I can adjust the temperature as well as brightness level. It’s great quality, the light is great, and easy to use. I know you can get batteries for it so you can use it without needing the power cord, but I haven’t done that yet so I can’t speak to battery.

    Large, Bright, Soft Light
    This does exactly what I wanted it to do which is to add lighting to my iPad based Photo Booth. It’s large and very bright. Makes a huge difference in the photo and video output quality. The diffused panel doesn’t hurt your eyes or make you squint like a lot of other lights will either. Super happy so far. A slightly larger bag that allows you to keep the mount attached would be the only thing I’d change for my specific use but this won’t likely be an issue for most.

    Good size, good quality, very bright and very vibrant colours. I mean, the vivid purples you can get from this light are so neat!I used it in a small 12 x 12 foot room and it lit up the entire room, which made really neat background lighting (as well as being the key light).Picture 1: The cat picture I am adding was just testing and playing around with the lights, the green is this Panel light (about 5 feet from the cat), the walls are a very light blue almost white colour normally.Picture 2: The picture that has some orange/red colour, the panel light is at 1% brightness onlyPicture 3: The picture with overpowering blue, the panel light is at 100%I bought this as well as 2 tube lights (2′ from neewer and one 2′ from aputure) and this panel light was by far the power house.I generally use the app to adjust colours and change settings, but you can do it from the back of the light as well. The app does take a little long to load up when opening it the first time, but that doesn’t bother me too much.Really great product, I would recommend it for anyone looking for a compact light set up.I also may look for a second panel light from Neewer, in the future.

    I haven’t used the light a lot but it’s so far seemingly good for it’s size/cost. It’s surface area isn’t quite big enough to nicely key a face by itself but it’ll work in a pinch. I actually end up using this on my desk a lot to bounce off of my office wall and pretty my mug up for zoom calls. When reflecting off of the wall it still has enough output to key nicely.It’s a good simple light. My only complaint is with the included case. While I’m glad to have been given one it clearly wasn’t given much thought in it’s design. For one, it’s padded by an ugly white styrofoam cutout that looks pretty cheap/unprofessional when you open it up. And the 2nd thing, for whatever reason that foam is configured in a way that only provides padding for the back side of the light, not the panel side where you’d want it more. I don’t think the panel itself is all that fragile but they could have easily laid things out differently in a way to give the panel a little added protection; don’t stack things on this case.
