1/4/19 It appears earlier versions of this 3-Way Switch did not fit all common Wall Plates. I brought this to the attention of MOES Customer Service, and they were very responsive and I just received there new Version of this 3-Way Switch and it now FITS all the new Wall Plates I tried it on, including some old wall plates I had on hand.With so many so many Smart Switches available to choose from today, it was important that the product was well made and had a Solid Warranty. Moes provides a 2 Year Warranty, and most Credit Cards will DOUBLE the Warranty of your purchase so youâll get 4 years of coverage should you ever require it. As I have other Moes Smart Switch Products installed in my home, this 3-Way Switch was needed for both my Stairway and Outdoor lighting.I ordered the 2-Pack of 3-Way Switches as most homes will only require One (1) 3-Way Switch per Light to connect to the Smart Life App. Installation was simple and the included Wire Markers insured I connected the correct wires when replacing the old switch.Once installed I simply added these 3-Way Switches to the Smart Life App I had already installed on my Android phone. I then set it up to connect to my house full of Alexa Devices for Hands Free use.One thing to mention is the Smart Life App. I really believe this is superior to the many overseas based App Companies as many donât even have a Server here in North America. Works great at first, horrible quality that does not last long
Easy installation and setup, works great with google assistant and with the Smart Life app. However a few days later, one of the LEDs stops lighting up, and the app can no longer detect if the light is on or not. The app can still toggle it, however it takes multiple commands to get the light to turn on or off, and even then it will still say the light is always on and google assistant becomes useless afterwards. While the cost of these switches were reasonable, the quality and reliability is horrible.

You can do multiple presses with one touch
I am using this to press a button that needs to be pressed twice quickly. Upon ordering this and trying to use it with my Zigbee compatible Echo 3rd gen I realized that the alexa routine could only press a button roughly every 1.3 seconds, depending on wireless interference. I contacted support and they said that you could not press a button more than once, fast. I ordered a zigbee tuya hub and found that I was able to program the device to press a button TWICE in as little as 1 seconds, but once programmed you could not use the fingerbot to press at any other speed in any other routines. This was fine for my application as the button it is pressing has no other function and the double-press is just a protection feature. The battery has lasted a long time. I do note that the antenna in this must be pretty poor as I had to use a powered device for zigbee mesh to reach the zigbee hub. I really wish the button on the fingerbot was a physical button and not a capacitive touch button. Overall, a great little gadget, with a few nuances.

Confusing Description
I bought two of their 3 way switches. I originally rated the switch as easy to install. It is easy to hook up but with all the wire nuts, instead of push in connections, it is a bear to get into the box, especially with 2 switches in one box. The description of this product originally said for light fan. Meaning what? light, fan or light and fan? I contacted seller and they say it will not control a fan. When I went to Moes products, they have two displayed side by side one saying light fan, the second light. I wanted to know if difference matters. The company, after sending question to them as to why my two wifi 3 ways from them do not work correctly in conjunction with the smart life app, said light fan, does not control fan. I am toally confused. I only want to control 3 way switches through smart life app for my lights in a dark hallway. So far not good.

This is one of those little things that can really solve a problem that you didn’t know you have.I have this tied into my older openhab and paired with a little button switch.Hot glued the bot to my PC case so I can turn the computer on without having to crawl under my desk to hit the button.Real first world problem solving.
