    Easy setup, I like the fact I can switch the USB on and off as well independently. I put it in a outlet box for a structured wiring .. great not to have adapters for media management.

    Works as expected, easy to install. No hub required but internet IS required. If you’re using Alexa, etc., to control it you probably don’t care. But if you’re running Home Assistant this switch will not run locally. The only way I’ve been able to add it to HA is thru the Tuya integration, which requires internet to run. If you can live with your automations not working when your internet is down, then I fully recommend it. It works like a charm to keep my tablet charged between 25-75%. You can see in the photo how the USB C has turned itself off because the tablet has reached desired charge. (BTW, if anyone has figured out how to make it run locally I would love to hear.)

    Doesn’t Work, too weak to charge on usb-c outlet
    My husband finally installed this outlet after months sitting in the box. It turned out to be not as described in item description. The usb-c outlet couldn’t charge my iPhone 15 , which was the main reason to we bought it. The amp was too weak and not able to charge my phone at all! We didn’t install right after purchased, therefore,we couldn’t return it. Waste of effort and money.

    I was able to replace a right angle adapter, a smart plug and a USB adapter with this one device. Integrated perfectly into my Amazon Alexa environment and controlled in my scenes, perfect, will buy more

    Easy install but USB-C is weak.
    This installed easily enough. It uses wires to connect to the AC but should use screw terminals as the wire nuts take up valuable box space. The USB-C port won’t even charge my phone and the USB-A is only 2A. The LEDs light up RED not green which could confuse someone into thinking there is something wrong with it. Not recommended for the price.
