    Excellent Z-wave plug
    Works great with Home Assistant and dimming is smooth. I do with there was the ability to adjust if leading edge or trailing edge dimming is used, as some LED bulbs prefer a specific one. I also wish there was power monitoring, but most dimming outlets do not offer this for some reason. Fast responding and no issues adding to my Z-wave stick. I have 6 of these now for the bedrooms, living room, and dining room. Zero issues with all of them. Nice and compact.If you notice this does not behave with LED bulbs well (when they initially turn on, they ramp up and flash once at the highest brightness) try setting the max brightness to 97, this fixed my issues completely. Seems like a bug they should fix with a firmware update.

    Easy to install
    I’m using this with Hubitat. Unfortunately, there isn’t a driver specific to this device yet. However, the generic outlet driver works just fine. I love that it reports voltage and wattage. You can also define whether the blue light is on or off when the outlet is turned on. It’s awesome how customizable this thing is!

    Does not dim a dimmable LED lamp?
    Just buzzes and get alarmingly hot. Lamp says its dimmable so I dont think I am expecting it to do something it was not designed to do?Updating my rating after being contacted by Monoston with an explanation that I was in fact using the product incorrectly.Note to future buyers, you cannot use this outlet if your lights are USB powered. I was trying to dim a desk lamp that had a usb cord for power so I was plugging the lamp into a usb power brick then plugging that into the Monoston outlet.

    So far so good
    I purchase a lot of similar looking similar prices ones from a different company. However I bought another Minoston product that blew me away so though I would try one of these. These are among the cheapest of this type I have seen anywhere. There are not a lot of plug in dimmers out there any more on the market and these at this price are a steal. They usually dim up or down smoothly sometimes but very rarely flicker. I bought about 7 of these types to replace smart bulbs that continuously would lose programming and have to be added back it was driving me insane so had to find something that wouldn’t keep losing its programming. I highly recommend these and hope they will continue to work I have only had around a month now and so far so good.

    Work great for 2 days…. no longer works
    UPDATE: Plug quit working after 2 days. It is still getting power from the outlet, and still communicating with Smartthings, but it doesn’t toggle the light on/off. The manual button seems to turn the plug on/off (blue power light turns on/off) but it doesn’t toggle the lights plugged into.ORIGINAL: Using this plug with Samsung Smartthings (and Alexa) to control our Christmas tree lights. Works as advertised, and build quality seems good. Nice to have the button on the side to manually control the switch ir needed. Good size, and nice that it doesn’t block the other outlet. Good value for the money.
