Outstanding Smart Light Switch: Seamless Integration, Perfect Performance
I am thrilled to write this five-star review for the smart light switch, as it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. I have converted my entire house to these switches, and they work absolutely flawlessly.One of the standout features of these smart light switches is their seamless integration with Alexa. The setup process was effortless, and they seamlessly connect to my Alexa devices without any issues. The ability to control the lights with voice commands adds a new level of convenience and sophistication to my home automation.Unlike other smart devices I have used, these switches have proven to be exceptionally reliable. They stay connected consistently and have not experienced any connectivity drops or disruptions. The consistent performance has truly impressed me, enhancing the overall smart home experience.I am so satisfied with this purchase that I plan to convert my parents’ 6000 sq foot home to these smart light switches as well. The outstanding performance, ease of use, and reliability make them a worthy investment for any home, regardless of its size.

Stopped working
For less than 2 years the switches worked flawlessly. Now the manual function barely work and it’s unresponsive most of the time. Wireless features still work with absolutely no issues. Wish it lasted longer. I really liked this product.

They work okay, but you must turn off 5ghz when installing them.
They do work decently. Though it wasn’t a bit messy to get connected to Google. And if your router has 5ghz wifi you must disable that when your trying to set these up or it will not work at all, it will never find the switch. But once they are connected you can turn that back on and they will still work.Just remember when trying to connect them to a new router do not have anything other then the 2.4ghz enabled and make sure you phone is on the wifi that way. Or your their app will never detect the switch. I had to turn off the 5ghz and then tell my phone to forget the wifi and reconnect it before the app could find the switches. I turned it back on and redid my phone’s wifi and it still works so it seems you only have to do this to get it to connect but it’s fine afterwards.

I want to love this product
But I can’t. I’m not an electrician but this is pretty basic wiring. The problems I ran into were: wrapping the bundle of wires from the product to the single wires that are used in wiring a house. I.E. The house live wire is only wire wrapped in black (in my case). The matching Milfra wire is a bundle of, maybe 10, thin wires. Wrapping them together and capping them was difficult and had to be redone a few times because as I screwed the cap on, the bundle of thin wires from the devise would slide down the house wire and disconnect. It was also very difficult to get it connected to the app. Once I finally got their app to recognize it, Alexa had no problem finding it. As this is a double switch, both had to be connected to the Milfra app. This took many attempts and several hours over time. Once installed, level, everything working, I tried to put the cover plate on. I probably over tightened the bottom of the first switch because it would not let me push in to turn it on manually. And in trying to fix that, because I kept hitting the switch while unscrewing the plate, the switch went back into reset mode. I walked away for the night because now I still have to take the cover off, loosen the bottom of the switch (I’m assuming that’s what I did wrong), and then go thru the tedious process of getting their app to find the device again and reset it up). On the positive note, once I had it all together (before realizing the first switch needed fixing), it worked properly. An electrician would probably give this 5 stars.

These switches are very reliable when connected to the Internet through wifi. I used a junction box to go on the wall because of my concrete walls but I have never had to troubleshoot or reconnect when there is loss of power or wifi drops. Definitely recommend by for easy it is to set up and its design.

Overall, the switch looks great and functions as advertised. It works with the SmartLife App (Tuya) as advertised.I have one major reservation in recommending this device. It uses tinned stranded copper wire. Tinning wires with solder in wire nut and screw terminal applications is absolutely not correct. This has been a very bad and potentially dangerous habit coming out of Chinese manufacturers. This has been raised in many hobby groups where the practice can cause connection in equipment to loosen over time, arc and catch fire. I doubt you’re going to find a reasonably priced smart switch that doesn’t make this mistake unfortunately.The ETL certification on the back of the package with “C” and “US” (Canada and USA) compliance is therefore suspect IMHO.Wire tinning in this application shouldn’t pass a proper laboratory testing program and standards compliance review.Lastly, another minor quibble, but worth noting. I suppose it’s good they included wire nuts (marrettes) at all. Thankfully we had some larger wire nuts handy. They rather stupidly assume there will only be four wires and you won’t already have some paired requiring a larger wire nut for three wires to be joined.The switch works. I’m using it. But I’ll probably be checking the wire nuts are still secure every 6mo.

This switch looks really good with my walls’ color, and I do not have any problem with connecting it to my google home and work great so far
