    Great Product and awesome customer service
    I purchased multiple sets as a Christmas present for my daughter’s bedroom. We installed them following the instructions and everything worked as they said, the room looked great and we were happy with the result. Due to the review on the stickiness of the lights, we placed a clear thumb tack every other feet or so (don’t pierce the strip!! only as support right below it). You can not see them and now 6 months latter everything is still in place. Around may timeline, one of the strips died, I contacted Miheal customer service through email. They replied within 24 hours, honoring the warranty, no questions asked. They gave me a code to order a replacement strip from Amazon at no cost to me. Two days latter I had a brand new, working strip at home. I do not usually write reviews, but I have been very happy with the product and greatly impressed with their customer service…I do strongly recommend.

    Cool lights and great customer support
    i installed the lights under my gazebo but 3 of the blue led’s did not work. I reached out to the supplier and they replace the defective roll in a few days. they are installed and look great. the phone app gives you more options than the remote so that is why I only gave the remote 4 stars. Cool product and great customer support. I see some people had issues with the adhesive. no issues with mine, just make sure you wipe the surface you are applying the lights to with alcohol.

    Failed within 2.5 months
    Product installed well, adheres well, to outside fence rails, feature set good. Unit failed within 2.5 months, however, making its feature set irrelevant. The photos shown above were taken this morning (2023-01-02) when I noticed the failures shown. Clearly, at least one of the color lines is damaged. In the blue photo, the break or fault is within 1 foot of the beginning of the string. In the green photo, the LEDs become very dim after a further point, so there are likely two faults. It rained heavily in the last few days, but these are nominally outdoor-rated, and the faults shown are in a sheltered but outdoor location. Now I will have to rip out the string and replace with (obviously!) another firm’s brand. It took 1 – 2 hours to install.

    Vibrant – nice product
    Bought 2 boxes of these lights. Unable to connect the strips due to missing connectors from 1 box and the 2nd box had defective power box. Contacted the company and they replaced the box. Lights now work and look fantastic!Length was perfect – even had some leftover.

    Yes you can attach strips together BUT
    You can fasten 2 strips together but *sometimes* you have to flip the attached strip over (so pick a hidden stretch in your design for the flip). It will work but you have to attach the second strip backwards then have space to flip it back to lights up without stressing strip. I’ve had them work both ways.

    These lights are NOT waterproof! Corroding and failing.
    These lights are awesome! Very bright and colorful, and they can dim, flash, strobe, change colors, and with the app, you can control all this from your phone! Works well with Alexa voice commands and timers also.The only downside is the adhesive. I thoroughly cleaned the plastic cover with alcohol, let it dry, peeled the backing and affixed the lights. By the following day, they were already coming loose. Very disappointed with the sticky back. Had to reattach with clear gorilla tape.Update: One of the light strips is not responding to controls and changing colors randomly. The strip is corroded at a few of the copper “cut” areas. These are supposed to be waterproof but just a month after installing outdoors, they are failing.Second update:The seller sent a replacement LED strip and a new WiFi controller. Replaced them both and the lights are now working well again! Seller was very helpful!Third update:Now the power supply seems to have stopped working. Grr… Contacting the seller again.Update #4:Seller sent a new set. Turns out the power supply was fine, but the new wifi controller was melted. I found more corrosion on the original light strip which must have shorted out the controller.BOTTOM LINE:These lights are NOT waterproof! They look and work great until they fail and they will if water can get to them. I have replaced two wifi controllers, one light strip and am currently attempting to repair another from corroding and melting in two. The seller has been very good, working with me to supply new parts, but I don’t want a set of lights I have to repair and work on every few weeks.I am looking for a different set of lights.

    Better adhesion heaftier
    Used this on the Trex decking fascia, (boards surrounding outside deck). Used router with a 3/8ths inch cutter with guide screwed to a slim 2 foot board and ran along the top of fascia guiding the router all way around perimeter for a straight line. Then peeled back tape, I worked the LED into and along the routed area. It fit snugly and stuck firmly, so far, so good. I first used the 64ft LED version (2 reels @32ft ea) this way: using 1 32ft going one way and the other going in the opposite direction hoping to meet at some point. Made it around about 2/3rds way then ordered this 32 ft reel. It fit the female connector perfectly (used electric tape to insure they remained connected and waterproof. I plugged into a seperate timer plug stake, I got from home depot. Baaam! All lit up and looking good. I will add photo shortly. Thanks. Better more robust LED light strip.

    Christmas present for my daughter . We are very disappointed!! And my daughter was very upset. There are three parts – one part works perfect another part turns on and off every few seconds, an the third part doesn’t even have the red lights working!!! And when we turn the lights off by controller , turns on red light on two first parts instead turn off . Maybe something wrong with controller….? How we can fix thise problems? Or how to retern the product….
