    Smart Plug Works Well
    Smart plug works exactly as intended but you will need to get the Meross app to setup even if you plan to use this with your Alexa. Setup was easy just follow instructions in the app and then it just works. App is very bare bones but has the 2 most useful routines. First the ability to set a schedule and turn on or off your plug at a certain time and second the ability to turn off after a certain time. That’s all people want. I would note that although it says ‘mini’ in the name of this plug it’s just as large as any other smart plug I’ve used including the official ones.

    Easy to set up via bluetooth – auto connected to Alexa – voice controlled thru Echo dots
    I ordered this single smart plug to use with different things, whenever I want. I have several smart devices, but this is my first smart plug. The set up steps were simple. Plugged it into an electrical outlet, pushed the button to turn it on, downloaded the app, followed a few instructions, and then it automatically connected to Alexa. I named it “plug” during the process as a generic name to use with anything. Now, it is displayed in the Alexa app with that name, I can move it around to any electrical outlet, and just tell my Echo dots to turn the “plug” on/off for whatever I want to use it for. So far, I’ve tried it with table-top lights, a coffee pot, and another small electrical kitchen appliance. It worked fine. I also tried testing it with a two small rechargeable electrical devices by plugging their USB cable into a USB adapter, and then plugging the USB adapter into this smart plug. It worked fine with one, but not the other, but that’s okay since I mostly plan to use it with regular electrical devices anyway. I do kind of wish that the LED status light and on/off button were on the front rather than the side, since it would be easier to see them depending on the location of electrical outlet, but it’s not a big deal.

    so far so good
    I’ve been using this outlet for a few weeks now and so far it’s worked without any issue. I have yet to have it actually disconnect or be unreachable within my smart home environment. Because it’s limited on what services it works with, I would not recommend it if you’re going for a specific smart home environment. But if you already have some other devices of this brand, it’s a great addition. Had a great cost.

    Works with Google Home
    I am new to the home automation and remote control game so I decided to try it out by playing around with a smart plug and seeing what I could do with it.This Meross plug has an associated app for your phone that guides you through the initial setup so it can communicate with your home wifi network.After setup, the unit will be visible to Google Home. Very easy.I put mine in line between the wall outlet and a string of Christmas lights. Opened Google Home and there it was. Tapped its icon in Google Home and the lights came on; tapped it again and the lights went off. Cool.Next I walked a block or so away and checked to make sure I was out of my wifi network’s range. Repeated the test and sure enough, the lights went on and off in response to my taps. Neat-oh. I could control my Christmas lights from the other side of the world with nothing more than my phone and a cellular internet connection.Next, I am going to play around with scheduling the off and on times in Google Home. This is kinda fun.I may be hooked.

    I am technical and know how to connect smart to google home . this will not connect at all. tried several outlets and nogo . reset it numerous times nogo .I do not recommend

    Worked ok, but laggy sometimes
    This smart plug worked as expected, but I found it sometimes would be laggy in responding. Nothing too serious, but a few seconds would go by before it would turn on/off after pressing the button in the Meross App on my iPhone.

    Easy Set Up, Reliable Smart Plug
    We have close to a dozen Meross smart plugs in our home, and I needed one more for our Christmas tree lights, so I ordered this MSS110 device. I already have the Meross app on my smartphone, so setting up this new plug was quick and easy. I plugged it in to a power strip, it went into pairing mode automatically, the app detected it, and I renamed the connection “Christmas Lights.” Couldn’t be easier!This model does not support Apple HomeKit, but it does support Google Voice and Alexa, and it can be controlled via the app with a quick tap. No hub is required, and it works on a 2.4GHz network. I’ve had great luck with these Meross smart plugs. They’re reliable, don’t lose connectivity, and they’re among the most economical smart plug solutions on the market. I plan to buy several more 4-packs after the holidays so that I can add this Wi-Fi technology to other rooms in my home. Highly recommended.

    Easy to use and instant set up even without their app.
    I have been using this for over a month now and super easy to use, reliable and reacts pretty much instant. I didn’t use their app I just set them up directly in the apple home app. No annoying bright LED on the plug like some versions, and discrete power button for when you need it. I have Apple Watch/iPhone etc so I can ask Siri anywhere in the house to control the lights and takes at most 1 second to react though I have put this on timer for my plant grow lights and humidifier.Strongly recommend this.
