How to use MELPO rgb light bulbs with BRmesh APP.

1, Scan the QR code on the manual to download the “BRmesh” APP from Google Play or IOS APP Store.

2, Open ” BRmesh” APP， and click the ”+ ” in the upper right corner of the APP to add lights ( light don’t need pair with your phone’s Bluetooth).

3, Follow the ”Add guideline” to add lights.
Check ” I have understood” , and click ” Enter to add” then immediately turn on the lights.

4, Then light and APP will connect automatically, then click ”Done” then you can change color/mode, set timing or music sync.

    It’s party time. That’s what I think of when we use these bulbs.The controller can program a variety of colors. And the MELPO RGB Light Bulbs 12W(130W Equivalent) do add a dramatic flair to a room. However, they also feel darker than the 130W equivalent bulbs they are supposed to be. My wife is running the blue cycle in our living room. She has tried easing the controller to a brighter blue setting, but the controller jumps from the dark blue setting to no blue. It doesn’t brighten the blue color. The controller is the same type that is used for candles, for Christmas trees, and for other such devices.

    Skeptical, but I’m impressed.
    I love me some RGB light, & anything smart home. The packaging always says “easy to set up, works w/ this and that, customize, etc” i have bought a lot over the years and that’s hardly the case. So I was a bit skeptical about these. However, it literally took me less than 10 mins to set these and the app up. Paired w/ Alexa very quickly except for 1 bulb, but used the app to resolve issue. Their is a bunch of customization, colors really pop and overall great little bulbs as of right now. If they fall offline, or burn out sooner than they should I will update. As of this review it’s Dec. 3rd 2024.

    Good for Alexa!
    The bulbs are adequate. They do what they are designed to do. They offer many lighting options. It works with Alexa, but there is no mention of working with Google Home.

    Ease of use is unbeatable
    I cannot tell you how nice it is to have this partner with my Alexa device so smoothly. I have never had that in a smart light before. All you got to do is say, “Alexa, find new device” and you’re good to go. You can change the color and brightness and tone of white lighting with ease. I would recommend anyone who is looking for ease of use to consider this 4 pack of bulbs that are a breeze to install and simple to operate by voice. Great for convenience and necessity for those of us with mobility struggles.

    Very difficult to set it up it shouldn’t be that hard
    For a simple light bulb, it shouldn’t be that hard and complicated to set it up, one of the light bulbs didn’t work, will not pair in Bluetooth. Definitely will be returning it.
