    Easy connection!
    It would pair, and then lose connection saying server unresponsive. Tried resetting, but no luck. Alexa finds it and will turn it on, but can’t shut it off due to the server problem. Not pleased. Especially at the price point. Would not recommend.Update,, Lightinginside sent me two bulbs in compensation for the bulb I could not get to work the first time around. So I must say the customer service is quite good and communicative. This time,, when I turned the light on, Smart life saw it immediately and it paired without hesitation. Then it also paired with Alexa almost simultaneously. So obviously I was pleased. I’m sure they are too. Don’t know what happened the first time around, but this time we are good. Thank you Lightinginside for going above and beyond.

    Connected SO Easily
    I had been putting off buying things that were “Matter” enabled because they are usually more expensive than the other types of smart devices. But man oh man did these things deliver. I think I practically just turned on the light and my phone was asking me if I wanted to link it to all my Google home stuff. There was none of that business where you have to add it in another app, and then sync it over, and then add the room a second time over in the Google app after you already added it in a third party app.I’ve had these in for like 2 months now and they haven’t disconnected from my wifi or anything. They’re fast, bright, turn all the good colors (or just shades of white you might want). I have not had any flickering. Overall I’m really happy with how they are performing, and I would buy more of them in the future. Definitely worth a little more for the Matter connectivity feature.

    Bright but…
    Thus far these are the best 100w replacement bulbs that use matter that I’ve found.My first batch of 4 worked as expected but weren’t as bright as the 100w bulbs they were replacing so I had to add more lamps. So I bought a second batch. One of the bulbs wouldn’t stay connected. So I returned for replacements. The replacements were used and previously paired requiring resetting. This is likely an Amazon issue, they shouldn’t give you restock for paired items like this. Half of the replacement bulbs had the same issue. So do I return the replacement and the second batch or mix and match so I have a working set? Seems like there’s a quality control issue.

    They disconnect frequently (don’t buy if planning to use matter with it)
    I was super excited to use these with Home Assistant. I connected them and they will not work. Their matter functionality basically turns off and on every time you turn off and on the light switch and it resets it for like a second and then they disconnect again. They did work flawlessly for like the first day I use them and then it’s been all issues after that. I spent too many hours into this thinking that I was the one and then I saw another Amazon review that said the same thing. These guys need to work on their quality control. if they send me some lights, that actually work I’m happy to adjust my review. Spent so much stinking time and getting these to work, but I’m gonna have to go with a different brand even if it’s not as bright. 😢 PS I’m not a tech noob. I know it’s not user error.

    The trouble with smart lightbulbs
    Smart lightbulbs are great for a while, until you start realising that flicking the switch at the door is much easier than “smart” methods of turning room lights on/off. The variable colors are cool, the dimming is cool but it’s still about manually messing about with an app or talking to your smart hub versus toggling a switch and the switch is smarter by a mile. The closest smart lightbulbs come to the toggle switch simplicity is if you also use a smart hub that can use something like ultrasound to detect the room has someone in it or is empty and just leave the smart hub to turn the lights on/off when the room is populated/empty. That’s not 100% reliable and can turn the lights off when you are in the room and putting an Alexa device having ultrasound detection or equivalent in every room just to avoid toggling the switch at the door makes smart bulbs seem a lot less smart than they claim. I also find them really unreliable, each month I have to reset and re-install one or two. Then, all but the most recent wifi connection points don’t support many simultaneous connected devices, I have over thirty lights on each floor of my house. I admit, having the lights dimmed to the lowest level when I go to bed is good for winding down but I doubt the claimed 1% brightness level is honest, if I ever put a light meter in a room and measure the difference between light energy at different dimmer levels I’ll be sure to update my post.

    Easy set up, an issue with 1 bulb, but excellent customer service resolved it
    I like these bulbs a lot and they were – with one exception – easy to install. I just couldn’t get the fourth bulb to connect. Originally I thought it was because the location was quite far from the router, but I tried it next to the router and it was still a ‘no go’.So, I posted a review (2 stars) reflecting my experience – and Maggie, from LightingInside reached out to ask about my issue. The company sent me 2 bulbs as a replacement.So I’m rating them 5 stars for really going the extra mile, and producing an excellent product. This is by far the easiest setup I’ve experienced; both my garage and the far end of my yard are locations I’ve struggled with in terms of distance from the router, so it was a real pleasure to see a strong instantaneous connection.

    I have bought this smart bulb twice. The first one was disconnecting once a week. After that I bought a pair and have been working flawlessly. I contacted directly the company about the problem with the first one I bought and they inmediatly send me a replacement that has been working perfectly. Excellent smart bulb and even more excellent customer support.
