Excellent Quality Video Doorbell Camera for the Price
As a person who already has a Lorex camera system and an NVR operating in my home, I found this (a bit pricy) 4K HD camera doorbell a good fit I have a wired doorbell so of course I also replaced the power supply from my old doorbell is it was inadequate for the job – See my earlier posts for the power supply I have used for many installation. The only con I would say is the price of the device. It is new and I would expect it to become cheaper as newer devices come to the market. This one does the trick and is high quality – I also ungraded the SD card to 512M

Camera view, live feed, Will not work with echo hubs
Camera view Will not work with echo hubs. It will give you an announcement but you will not receive a live feed. check echo hubs for other compatible doorbell cameras besides Lorex. The doorbell on its own is good, although I don’t like the narrow view of the 4k as opposed to the 2k. You miss a lot of the side views and has the awful blurred view on either side.

Does not alert on iPhone iOS 18.1
I worked with support for over an hour, two times and on iOS 18.1 iPhone 14 Pro Max you will not get alerts. Probably all phones. They could not give me an ETA for an App update so had no choice but to return it. notifications worked on my iPad, but not iPhone. 18 has been out awhile so not sure what the lack of new App update is taking so long. Also, you need 1 email per device, you cannot login to your iPhone and iPad at the same time without 2 email addresses.
