    The perfect, basic webcam for WFH setups
    I got this webcam when we transitioned to work from home (WFH), and it has worked flawlessly.I got this model specifically because it didn’t have a working microphone, as I have a mic in my headset an didn’t want to deal with the headaches of managing a mic on the webcam too.The picture quality is fine and I don’t have any criticisms of it.Also great is that it has a standard threaded hole on the bottom of the holder, so you can attach this to standard mounts and tripods.And lastly, it’s awesome that it comes with a privacy cover built in, so you can easily close and open it between meetings, if privacy is important to you.Great, versatile webcam that’s perfect for any WFH setup.

    This model has no audio, but a short online file can fix that. Great camera if you download the camera app and use it. Great sound. I use it on a really good laptop because it solves many sound, picture, and lighting issues easily. the laptop cam and mic are good, but nothing like this. Sound is almost as good as a standalone mic.

    Excellent video quality for work meetings
    I bought this to replace an older Logitech C930e that I’ve been using for the past six years. This C920e is better in most ways, but worse in one.I initially bought the C930e because of the wide angle lens, but quickly realized that 1) it just showed a bunch of distracting stuff in the background of my office, and 2) it slightly distorted everything, as wide angle lenses tend to do. I am loathe to replace something that isn’t broken, but considering the number of hours I spend in video meetings each day – and that these meetings have largely replaced in-person time with my customers – I finally decided to “upgrade” to a camera with a standard field-of-view so I would look more normal on-screen.I use the quotes because technically the C920e is a downgrade from the C930e, but things have improved so much since I bought the old C930e that the current C920e indeed turned out to be an upgrade. The picture quality is MUCH better – tremendously sharper, and with better color balance. It’s more than what I need, but is well worth the price. (And, as expected, the field-of-view is better suited to a single person seated at a desk.)Like it’s predecessor, this camera includes a physical cover to block the lens when not in use. This was a must-have for me, and it works great. It was a bit stiff at first, such that I’d knock the camera out of alignment when flipping the cover open, but a drop of WD-40 fixed that.I haven’t tried the microphones, and probably won’t. Audio quality is more important to me than video quality, so I use a headset with a good mic.My only complaint is that the cord on the C920e is about a foot shorter than the old C930e. My computer and monitor are right next to each other, and the cord still barely reaches. This camera wasn’t expensive, but neither was it cheap. I wish Logitech spent the extra dime to keep the original length cord.Minus one star for the cord, but otherwise an excellent personal videoconferencing camera at a fair price. I recommend.

    You need to enable microphone
    I didn’t read that the microphone was disabled so I lost 20 minutes troubleshooting it. Installed “Logi Tune” and flipped the switch to enable it. I am not sure what is the point of disabling a microphone (a malicious app could enable it easily). Now it works as intended

    Excellent camera
    I bought a Lenovo camera 3 years ago but It only worked these 3 years. Everybody recommended me buy a Logitec camera and worth it to pay for the value of this device. Just one thing, you have to download the software to enable the microphone in your calls
