    Incredibly bright, easy to configure, easy to control…
    zero complaints on these bulbs, work with my google home and automations really well… note that they’re really really bright which is great. If you can’t get the deep colors you want or the right white – ie warm white – then adjust the brightness a little as when they’re super bright the colors of course aren’t going to be super deep.

    Works great with Home Assistant, very bright!
    I used the Home Assistant app on android to join these to my Wifi. I use a special WiFi SSID for IoT devices, so I did have to connect my phone to the special IoT Wifi first.After adding these bulbs to home assistant, I was still able to connect to these bulbs using the AiDot app (so you don’t have to choose between using Matter vs using the manufacturer’s app; if you want to use both for some reason, you can).The bulbs have both Bluetooth and Wifi. If using the AiDot app, bluetooth will be used if the Wifi or internet is down. Home Assistant can control these via Matter as long as Wifi is working even if the internet is down. After adding these bulbs to my WiFi I did configure my router to block these bulbs from accessing the internet.I might explore installing ESPHome or Tasmota on these bulbs. There’s a thread on the homeassistant forums that describes how on the non-Matter enabled Linkind bulbs. But since these work locally with Home Assitant out of box, I’m not sure there’s much of a reason to change firmwares.

    Pretty good, though set up was complicated
    The lightbulb itself works excellent with Apple HomeKit, but setting up the lightbulb with Apple HomeKit was complicated, every time I scanned the QR code to add the lightbulb to my home it will always give an error or say connection timed out… However the lightbulb connected without any problems to AiDot. So after a few tries, I finally was able to add it to my Apple HomeKit. The solution was pretty simple but weird, instead of scanning the QR code, I just typed the code manually and it connected within seconds.

    Decent Product
    While it claims to be 1600 lumens, I think that’s exaggerated. Seems more like 1200 to me, but who knows. I had a 1600 lm white LED bulb in the lamp before which was definitely brighter. However, the ability to change color temperatures and colors is great. I’m able to create a scene in Apple’s Home app to be 100% and then other ones that reduce the brightness and decrease the color temperature to emulate an incandescent bulb. I like that. The only issue I had was setting a scene to brightness 0% would always do 2% for some reason. Setup was very easy via Matter. They respond to changes in the Home app very quickly.

    Its the AiDot app that made the difference. I was simply trying to have a color come on for a few hours and then switch to white, repeated every day for Halloween. The app helps you do that.
