    We have been very pleased with these Ring video doorbell cameras. The features are impressive, and even include customized zones for motion detection. I recommend buying an extra battery to avoid any downtime.

    *Update* battery only lasts about 1 week, no matter what I do
    After working with Ring and testing the unit, Ring has replaced the faulty doorbell with a new one, it is also a newer version, I am very happy with the outcome, so I went to 4 starsI now have two extra ring batteries that I continually charge because a battery will only lase about a week, no where near there stated battery life, I could not be more dissapointed in a product

    Ordered this refurbished ring door bell. Install was easy. After a couple of weeks the battery wouldn’t last more than a day and a half. The batteries I used were the “Ring” brand. All settings were set on “recommended” settings. I even turned off motion detection. Unit returned.Update 10/1/24: I went to UPS to return this for a refund on 9/18/24. Amazon received it 9/20/24 per UPS Tracking number and verified with customer service. I had until 9/22/24 to return it. I still have not gotten my refund and I’ve called customer service twice since they received it.
