    Works Great
I only recently came across a no neutral smart switch. These work really well and would definitely recommend!

It worked! Setup was easy and quick.
I can’t really give a report of anything I disliked about the Leviton no-neutral light switch. Not yet anyway… And I’m hopeful this will remain my experience. Installing this switch was quick and simple. I have tried other brands and overall had difficulty installing them, if I could get the switch installed at all. Eventually, every switch I could get working initially, flaked out within the first year of use. Generally, they simply lost WIFI connectability and as such were of no use for their intended purpose.I installed three of these smart switches a few days ago and have had no issues with their functionality at all, either physically with the toggle switch itself, with the My Leviton app or with using voice control via Amazon Alexa. I was most pleased with the easy installation. The other switches all required multiple attempts at connecting them to my Mesh WIFI system. Most would not connect at all. Time will only tell how this will play out, but initially this smart switch works as advertised, for me at least. I’ll add additional comments as my use of these switches continues and report on continued functionality. Be aware that using these no-neutral switches requires the installation of the Leviton WIFI bridge for connectability. Installing the bridge was also easy and straight forward.

    Works As Advertised
I bought this switch along with the Leviton bridge that is required for this generation switch. The bridge was a breeze to set up. Very literally just plugged it in and opened the Leviton app to get it attached to my home WiFi. Then it was just as simple getting the bridge set up within Apple HomeKit. I then installed this switch. At first I thought it was going to be just as simple. Once I installed the switch and turned back on the power the switch was in pairing mode but it took a couple of tries to get the Leviton app to find it. I got it connected to the bridge after a couple of tries. I then went into HomeKit and the switch was already showing up. I thought that was perfect. However maybe 15 minutes later the switch was no longer responding in HomeKit. I believe my troubles were because both the bridge and the switch had underwent a firmware update after I had them connected to HomeKit. Eventually I had to delete the switch from my Leviton app completely and then re-ad it. Since then (roughly 48 hours) it has worked flawlessly, hence my 5 star rating. I can recommend this without hesitation.

Works, but very slow to react to wifi controls, and weak signals
The switch feels like good quality, and once it’s installed you can’t tell the difference between it and a normal Leviton switch. It’s great that you can use it without a neutral wire (although you do have to ground it). It has two big issues though – one is that the range to the wifi bridge is really short. I have one of these about 10 feet away from the bridge with one sheet of drywall in between, and the range is already “yellow”. The instructions say that range is cut down a lot if you install it in a metal outlet box, but the entire point of this switch is that it’s made to work in older houses with no neutral wire – and therefore … it’s going to be in metal boxes. The other issue is that it’s very slow to react to controlling it remotely – like typically a full 5 seconds before it turns on/off after requesting it. I have two sets of lights in the same hallway that are on different circuits, and I was hoping to tie them together with Alexa routines, to make them act like they’re on the same circuit. Doesn’t really work though to have to wait 5 seconds before I can see where I’m going. To be clear, using the physical switch turns on instantly – it’s just if you try to control it with the app or with Alexa/Siri/etc.

    Excellent
No problems, works as advertised, simple install, not too huge of a device in the electrical box. Set up can be wonky, I have several and needed to run through the Add Device set up a couple times on a couple of the switches to get them to set up with the Bridge. But with patience, they all work. App on Android is pretty user friendly, and full featured, with sunrise/sunset options, etc….

    Good
is a great product for your house. Definitely helps to save electricity from the old ways of forgetting you left your lights on. Was easy for me to put in because my family are all building, commissioners, electrical inspectors, and on the board of the electrical commission and also great uncle father was responsible for building the national grid. He invented a lot of it

    Violates NEC 250.6(A)
I have a GE smart switch that operates by using a triac to rapidly switch on and off (~50 Hz) when not in the on-state. They work great other than they fall off the WiFi all the time, and are a pain to reconnect using bluetooth. I saw these and had great hope. I was wrong. The way these work is they shunt some current to ground, effectively using the ground conductor as the neutral. This is a code violation of NEC 250.6(A) – Objectionable Current over Grounding Conductors. This section prohibits the flow of current over grounding conductors under normal operation. It specifies that grounding conductors should only carry current during fault conditions and should not be used as current-carrying conductors. I called up Levitron to validate my findings of them using the ground as a neutral, and they admitted to it and said it would not work without the ground as it completes the circuit.I don’t normally leave reviews, but this one has me piping mad.

    Could not setup using Android
I tried multiple times to set this up using the Android app. I finally gave up and tried installing the Apple OS app on my wife’s iPad. I was able to setup the switch without any problems. Now I can control it with either app. So far so good.
