    Not cheap, but worth every penny!
    When I’m needing electrical or plumbing connectors, I NEVER buy the cheapest brands….NEVER! Because FAILURE is NOT an option! Would you buy the cheapest parts for your airplane, if you had one? Falling out of the sky WILL ruin your day! But then, so can a flooded house, or an electrical fire, or an electric shock! So, just take a deep breath and buy this male connector. It’s super easy to install, black wire on GOLD screw, white wire on SILVER screw, and green ground wire on Green screw. EASY PEASY! And, it lights up with a really cool green light to show it’s got power. And, since it’s a LEVITON, you made a great decision. Buy it and smile every time you plug it in!

    Using with a gasoline powered generator
    I used two of these on #10 AWG wire cable back to back to plug into my outside wall outlet and an extension cord which runs to my generator to power lighting and refrigeration inside the house (good for 15 amps at 120 volts = 1800 watts).The green glowing plug is great as it lets me know there is power at the plug. Before having this double male cable I was running extension cords throughout the house to power certain lights but it became “painfully” obvious that the power cords all over the place became a trip hazard – especially where it was dim due to poor lighting. Now I can use any of the standard lights in the house. NOTE! Be sure to flip the main line breaker “off” to the house if you build and use one of these cables so that you don’t try to power the whole city – you will just blow the breaker on the generator if you don’t shut off the main breaker.

    Good quality all around
    I am for the most part happy with these plug ends. I bought two. My only issue is how the wire feed into the plug during assembly. You must have done this before if your buying one of these. Anyway, the area you get to slide the wire up and under the “clamp” next to the screw is way too small. At least it was on the two I got. I used 14g stranded wire like any cord would have. I had to cut away almost 25% of the wires to get it to slide up properly. It is of good quality and if I got one for a present I would be grateful. If I went to buy another I would look further. Hope this helps. Please write reviews on what you buy. It helps all. Wish I did more…….

    I watched a video that showed a furnace could be powered by a solar “generator” only if the outlet was bonded and the presenter used a very similar plug. Haven’t tried yet but planning on checking out running the furnace this way in a power outage. Thank you for fast shipping!
