Please check if you have downloaded the correct app. It is only compatible with Lepro+ app, please type the entire name including the “+” when you search in the app store. ( Do NOT download the “Lepro LampUX” app which is not compatible).

Do I have to turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth before connecting?

Yes, both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth must be turned on before connecting. Otherwise, it may cause you to not search for the device or fail to connect. It’s also best to keep both on during use to ensure proper functionality.

Why does the connection fail even when I turn on the Wi-Fi?

Please check if you are using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. (NOT support 5Ghz)

After turning on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi at the same time for the first pairing, do I still need to keep them on?

Once paired, you can control the bulb via Wi-Fi only or Bluetooth + mobile data within the signal range. If you only turn on Bluetooth, you will only be able to control color changes.

Why can’t the old “Lepro LampUX” APP be used anymore?

In order to comprehensively improve users’ experience, we developed the “Lepro+” APP by using a new architecture and incorporated a new AI Generated Lighting algorithm. The old one no longer supports the functions of current product.

    Got them for my kids they loved it put it on their wall. Had a few problems with the app connecting to Wi-Fi. It’s working, but it keeps showing in error message for some reason. But overall, it’s really cool quality very bright. The AI app thing is cool. Definitely five stars.

    I already have some Lepro lighting products so already knew to expect high quality, and this delivers. The rope light itself is bright and vivid. It’s really great to have a long length like 32ft instead of having to use multiple shorter lights. Now for the kit, everything you need is included. There’s a beefy 24V 2A power supply which is more than adequate. The controller handles bluetooth and WiFi, which is a must for me and my setup. It comes with plenty of hangers for straight lines or making your own shapes.The AI is fun to play with. It is not perfect yet (like anything AI) but trying out some voice suggestions it will come back with something that usually makes sense, as far as colors and pattern, speed. I highly recommend this for pretty much anyone.

    I ordered these Neon Rope lights off of the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for a honest review.So I love Rope lights. My room looks like a alien spaceship. I own around 12 sets of different brands. From expensive name brands to cheap generic ones. I saw these AI ones and figured I would give them a test. Since I have a few Lepro products now and they all work in a shared ecosystem. I will be comparing them to The Govee 10 foot rope light which I own and are relatively the same retail price. So it is a good comparison.First off I have to state that the Rope lights did not come with clips to hook them to the wall and shape them. They came with a tiny piece of double sided sticky tape. Anyone who has ever tried to use this for a 10 foot rope light knows it will fall off the wall and you will not be able to make cool shapes like you can with the clips.. Thankfully I own a 3d printer and Can print up some clips. Other customers may not be so fortunate and may need to buy some. This could be a real drag! This 10 foot Rope is not cheap. Clips are a must. So I am removing a star because of the disconvenience.The box comes with the power cord and control box. The 10 foot Rope light. Some instructions and a tiny piece of double sided tape that is good for nothing.The Lights can be turned on and off from the Control box. The fun lies in the app though. Download Lepro+ to access all the cool AI features and effects. You can set individual sections of the light to your own custom colors. Play around with some presets. Or you can talk to the AI and see what kinda effects it can come up with. You can also take a selfie and let the AI try to match your mood. I personally thought this was gimmicky and did not work half the time. Creating Effects and patterns with the AI can also be hit or miss. You can tell to make you Blueberry and ice cream. Pastel waterfalls. Doom video game themes. Whatever you can think of you can tell it to make. Then it spits out a whole bunch of different effects. Some look cool. Others just look strange and do not match what you tell it. It is cool technology but it still needs more fine tuning. Musical syncing is cool but limited in effects and patterns with no way to make your own.I got the lights set up with Google home. Can control them with assistant. No luck with Alexa though.All in all I like these rope lights. They are very bright and vibrant. I do wish the app had some more basic features. Like setting the speed of your AI patterns and tweaking them out better. They are great lights. Albeit a bit pricey. I can only hope the Developers can work on getting the app a bit better. The lights could be great. Right now they are just above average though. I personally would just go with Govee brand because the app is much better. The lights are more customizable. Their AI seems to be pretty accurate. And their lights come with clips to attach to the wall and make proper patterns. Sticky tape will just not suffice!Great lights. Missing hardware to hang properly and the app needs work. They could be superb and 5 star if the Devs actually start showing some love to the app. Until then, They are in my honest opinion as a light enthusiast, 4 star. That is my unbiased and honest review. Thanks.
