Great starter kit! Has almost everything I needed!
This package deal is completely worth the price! You get the LED lights, power supply, an extra power connector, a couple of strip-to-strip connectors, and the remote control cord and remote. All work perfectly so far, and I am quite happy with the functions of the remote.I purchased an LE brand warm tungsten LED strip to use in a craft project, and used the power supply and remote from this package to light them up. I decided to go with tungsten, instead of the daylight LEDs included in this package, just because it suited my project better. The daylight LEDs in this pack look great, and are quite bright…so no problem with them. The adhesive on the back of the light strip seems to be perfect. I have had other strips fall off, because the adhesive isn’t the best, but so far so good with these! The remote has several buttons that serve different functions: It has 100%, 50% and 25% brightness buttons, which quickly sets the brightness of the connected LEDs to that percentage. It has Brightness + and – buttons that increase or decrease the brightness of the LEDs in small increments. It has a Mode + and – button that allows you to select different flashing patterns of the lights. It has several patterns to choose from, and there are Speed + and – buttons that increase or decrease the duration of the patterns. I have not used these Modes much, but from what I’ve tested, it has a normal strobe mode, a 3-flash then pause mode, what seems to be a simulated “lightning” mode, and more. I may utilize this more when I make a new Halloween display I am thinking about! This set was my first time at working with LED strip lights in a craft project. I was completely uneducated with how to wire different lengths of cut LED strips, but after purchasing this and some other connector options, I am excited to do more with them! For my first project, I created a shadow box replica of an old Drive-In Movie Theater that I went to as a kid. I wanted to light the sunset behind the theater screen and tree cutouts, and light the inside of the screen to illuminate the interchangeable movie scenes I printed out. The picture is not great, but you can see how it turned out. (It looks better in person…). I used a strip of 6 LEDs to illuminate the sky, and a strip of 3 LEDs to illuminate inside the movie screen. I connected the two using the ZITRADES 8mm 2Pin 10Pcs LED Strip Connectors I bought off Amazon, and splicing the wires together using electrical tape. I then used the included power supply connector and adapter with the remote control to give it power. So far, so good! I would recommend this LE light kit, and LE lights in general. I have purchased this, warm white, and blue LEDs from them, and they all look and work great!

Fantastic lighting – easy to install, great for “hidden” lighting
I connected this to a Sonoff switch, which if operated via my Alexa. Sonoff Wifi Switch Wireless Remote Control Electrical for Household Appliances, Compatible with Alexa DIY Your Home Via iPhone Android App (Sonoff Dlu)The light is very bright. I installed it in my kitchen as under counter light – it is very good. The Sonoff is a binary – it is either on or off, there are other switches available to give you brightness control – and you don’t have to use any wifi connector! You can simply plug it in, and unplug when done. This is excellent under counter lighting, and I will also be using it to light some of the closets around the house, and some of my garage shelving. The white is much brighter than the white option on a color roll. The light as a sticky back to it which will stick to almost anything. Making installation a breeze. For the price, this is amazing, and so many options. Using an Arduino I am making one for the bathroom that will come on when it senses movement, then switch off after 10 minutes. The lights will go under the vanity, and will light the bathroom enough for a 3 AM visit, without leaving you blinded by the lights! You can cut the tape at any point. You can then use jumpers to place the next run around a corner or over a gap. With basic skills, you can extend those wires as long as you want them. You can also start another run with a 12v adaptor. Again, some basic electrical skills needed for that.

Bright & long lasting
Purchased a set in 2018 to mount under my kitchen cabinets. After over 6yrs of constant power ( on 24hrs a day, 7 days a week at full power) 2 led went dark & a few started to flicker. Not bad for $17. 100% recommended.

Looks really nice, dark wood shelves and drawersFGHIJK…, when you go to stick the strip that is represented by F-K, make sure the side that is F still points to the side on the other strip where E is (be careful not to flip it around so K and E join, otherwise it won’t light, as polarity will be reversed. If you do this by mistake, the LED’s will still work once you correct your mistake, jut don’t leave them plugged in reversed for a long time, that might burn them out). Note these letters aren’t on the strips themselves, just an illustration I made up to explain things. Each LED is mounted to the next on the strip in parallel (electronics term). What this means is, you can connect cut sections of strip in ‘series’, OR in ‘parallel’, and the LED’s themselves will still be in parallel. In other words, my power supply was in center of closet, and I wanted LED strips to go left and right from there. So I just cut the power supply cord, and spliced in a pair of the red/back wire splice connectors to the power supply leads, so one connector went to the strips to the left, the other to strips to the right. So I wired those strips in ‘parallel’ to each other and all still worked.I then had to cut each strip, the one on left, and the one on right, and splice in a section of wire (using the same red/black wire splice kits also sold here on Amazon). So when I joined one strip for one closet rod to the next strip for the next rod, these strips were wired in ‘series’, but again, the LED’s themselves are still in parallel, so still light up properly.I used plastic stick on wire conduits from Lowes to hide the wires which connect one strip to the next. This worked well, and gave a more professional finished look. The glue on these strips is very good. Sticks really well. However I made a mistake at one point, and had to remove and restick on strip, and it wasn’t a problem at all. I was able to remove it, and remount it, and it still seems just as solidly stuck as the rest of them.Great stuff! The connectors themselves, that you use to join strips where you cut them, are a bit fiddly. Small, detail work, where if you don’t get it just right it doesn’t make a connection and the lights don’t work. You also will want to make sure there is a good strain relief so the wires don’t get accidentally pulled out. I used tie wraps to secure these wire connectors to the surface the strips were stuck to. In other places I used an insulated staple, the kind to secure wires in place. But these options may not be available depending on your application. Be sure to devise some means to secure the connectors at each splice, or the lights will be a constant maintenance issue each time something bumps the connector.
I used this to augment lighting in a closet. I had installed one of those California Closet type systems, one sold by Lowes. Looks really nice, dark wood shelves and drawers, brushed metal rods, etc. But it was a little dark in some of the corners, you couldn’t see what color and pattern some of the clothes were. Each clothing rod has a nice, wooden shelf above it. So I mounted these LED strips under each shelf, pointed right above each rod, for its entire length. Now the clothes are lit up perfectly. Makes a dramatic difference for closet usability. In one place, there was no shelf above the rod, so I stuck the strip directly to the metal rod itself, along the bottom, so as the hangers slide on the rod, they don’t touch the strip. The LED’s lights up the clothes below perfectly. So these lights can be mounted to something metal, without shorting them out.I mounted a new outlet to the closet wall, wired to the closet ceiling light. So the outlet is dead until you turn on the closet light switch. I plugged the LED strip power supply into this outlet, so the LED’s turn on and off with the closet light switch. It takes a split second for the LED’s to light, just how the electronics work, so there is a small delay between when ceiling light is on and LED’s is on.The kit was easy enough to setup, although I have electronics and electrical experience. Some things to note:While you can cut the strips to length at set intervals that are marked right on the strips themselves (every third LED), you have to be careful to mount the strip in the same direction it was before you cut it. In other words, ABCDE

Decent gaps between the LEDs, I’ve seen some that are ridiculous on the gap. Unlike my previous strip this one does not have a silicone over mold, they do stay cool even after running for many hours. I prepped my surfaces I taped to with a cleaning agent and then iso. alcohol. The double sided sticky on the back seems good enough, though I still used some clear tape to keep it fastened. Back of desk and under for some real nice illumination. For my roll, all LEDs work, none burnt out, still working fine no problems at this time. Attached to a smart plug, turns on and off at set times, cause well the controller or “remote” is garbo.Mind the dust and the amazing cable management!

I bought this white light strip to edge around our interior garage door which the family uses to access our house. When entering the storage-garage at night, from the outside mandoor, it’s a pitch black dark space to navigate through and, if I’m carrying my workbag and groceries, finding the light switch can be a chore. Also, when the g’kids run across the garage, turning on all the overhead lights, they continually forget to turn them off, which I won’t find out about until the next day. Power Wasters! This LED strip almost rims the entire door, and it clearly lights up the double-garage enough to see past several tool boxes, compressor, power washer, hand truck, storage boxes & recycling bins, bicycles, boards, scooters and assorted trip hazzards left in the path way. During the summer months I didn’t need the lights at full blast, so the dimmer is a great addition. Now that winter is on its way, the bright LED lights are more than enough. One mounting tip from my hubby. First find the mid-point of the strip, start pinning the lights on the door frame starting from the same mid-point above the garage entry door. He just started at the bottom on one side, and worked his way around, so the lights ended ‘high’ on the opposite side. He doesn’t like that it looks off balance.

Easy to install. I did have to buy some dbl backed tape to put the switch up, which was no biggie.

LED’s are very bright! Have bought several of these and these excellent.Had an issue with the LED’s going extremely dim and submitted a warranty claim through Lepro. They replied in a few hours and immediately asked if I wanted a refund or a replacement. I chose a replacement since we like the performance of these. 2 days later, the replacement arrived. Will buy again.
