    Inexpensive, pro-grade LED light. Great product!
    I bought these lights to shoot interviews and video reviews in a 3-point lighting configuration. Let me go straight to the point; this is a great product, regardless of the price point and best of all, you get a lot for your money! 3 lights with stands come packed neatly in a custom made bag which fits everything very nicely. Apart from the lights and stands, the bag also contains light diffusers, power adapters and metal barn doors which need to be mounted onto the metal frames with screws before the first use. This process is rather time consuming because you need to mess around with tiny screws but luckily, you only need to do this the first time. I’m sure there’s a better and simpler way to get the barn doors onto the outer frame of the lights. This can definitely be improved. Those barn doors are very useful though and work well.I really like the intensity and colour temperature dials and LCD displays at the back of the LED panels if you want to have consistent quality of light across multiple takes, spanning over multiple shooting days. These LED panels are very bright and of course, completely cool so you will never sweat under those. I was able to take great stills and videos of people with panels set at 70% power, 10 feet away from the subject. White balance was precise and I didn’t have to correct anything in post. This is a big deal.These panels an be powered with Sony batteries or with an AC adapter so that’s great for studio or field work.The stands are useful and save you the hassle of finding the right ones. The construction of the telescopic tube is reliable and solid but the spreader legs could be firmer. They aren’t tube extrusions, instead, the manufacturer opted for sandwiched metal strips which flex and aren’t very reassuring when you try to bend them. Luckily, the panels aren’t heavy so the rigidity of the spreader legs isn’t an issue, though I’d recommend a sandbag if you plan to extend the stand to its maximum height. Better be safe than sorry.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and will definitely look at other products from this company.Pros: powerful lights, precise white balance, dials and lcd display on the rear panel, barn doors, stand, custom bag which fits all. Great package for a great price.Cons: flimsy spreader legs, lightweight stand, barn doors take time to mount or dismount.

    I’ve been using these lights for about 2 months now. I was very hesitant at first because I’ve never heard of the brand. The color is spot on. It’s very helpful if youre doing quick shoots on location. I can use the available lighting and match the temperature.A lot of people complain about the stands and how flimsy they are. They are very lightweight. It’s a video kit that’s supposed to be very portable. At first I was disappointed that the stands could barely hold anything, but after a few shoots, I realized how useful they are. everything fits in the bag and is relatively lightweight. They fold up very small and hold the light just fine.The diffusers are useful for interviews. You don’t get those nasty hotspots LED’s give. It just does dim the light quite a bit. It’ still bright enough. There are two, one that slides into the light itself, and one that’s bigger and mounts in front of the light. It broadens the through and makes for some great catch light.Pros:Very portableGreat color reproductionLightweight, everything you need in one kitUses sony batteriesThe lights themselves are solid and beefyLooks professional in front of clientsInexpensive comparativelyCons:No battery meter, which is crazy in my opinion. I did not receive a remote, which I am currently contacting them for one.I would 100% buy this kit again. I find myself typically shooting at iso400-640 at f4 which is perfect.

    Great LED video light kit. Convenient, bright, and versatile.
    I have been very impressed with this LED light kit. The lights are extremely bright, the variable color temperature is nice, and they are relatively small which is great for transportation. The case it comes with is durable and fairly small. The stands are good, but just a little flimsy. I like how you can run these off of AC power or batteries. Overall I would highly recommend this lighting kit if you have the budget for this.

    Good lights, but poor customer support and build quality
    I’ve had this set for a month now. The lights are easy to use, versatile and bright. The light bracket does block the ability to fully open the barn doors when angled, which is a design flaw, but one I can overlook. However, the build quality of the stands and customer support has been poor. One of the light stands cracked as I was tightening it (see photo. It was not overtightened, just enough to support the weight of the light, which is top heavy). I’ve spent the past week and a half trying to get their customer support to respond to e-mails requesting a replacement. They’ve replied once, requesting a photo, and that was a week ago. This may very well be a “pay for what you get” scenario. I would not recommend based on the customer support experience and build quality.UPDATE: Shortly after this review, GVM e-mailed me and quickly provided a replacement stand under warranty.

    DON’T BUY this vesion 672s CHEAP PLASTIC.. Terrible Build quality
    Don’t buy this 672s version… Casing is cheap plastic… Very disappointed on build quality. VERY DISAPOINTED…. Thanks for nothing on the other reviews. I trusted to product quality… the green and red models are metal, this black 672s is cheap plastic.
