This is the best camera for a low cost. I needed an inexpensive, wireless doorbell camera that would record on motion and mount without damaging because I live in an apartment. I used double sided outdoor TRex tape. This brand ALSO has wireless rechargable outdoor cameras for the same price that I mounted at my other doors.Battery: the charge lasts forever. I’ve had to charge this one time over the last 2 months and there’s pretty heavy traffic as I live in an apartment. I still haven’t had to charge the other 2 cameras I got for the other doors.App and install: Simple. Set up was easy after I downloaded the app. I pay $8.99/month for unlimited storage through the app for this doorbell and 2 outdoor cameras. The app is easy to navigate. You can customize the alerts and notifications. You can make it sound and alarm and spotlight. It’s good. There is a slight lag. Like 3 seconds maybe from when a person walks in front of it before it starts a recording but that’s not an issue at all. Sometimes it will take my phone up to 30 seconds to load the live feed, but other times it’s instant. Again, not an issue for me at all.Night vision is good. Video quality good. It alerts when there are people outside but not with cars passing or the random cats and squirrels. Also great. I highly recommend this if you’re wanting peace of mind security without the high cost of some of the other brands. Especially if you want different types of cameras all linked on one app.

Good value! Works well enough for the price
The setup was extremely quick and easy. The picture is clear when there is enough light. The sound is good. The response is quick when it registers close motion or a doorbell press. The app opens quickly. The product description is pretty accurate. One perk over alot of others in the same category is that they give you free 6s cloud clips in addition to free storage if you use your SD card. It is wireless and uses a good bit of battery at a moderate rate if you have alot of events based on using high sensitivity motion detecting but there appears to be an option to attach a solar charger purchased separately. I haven’t had the opportunity to test that though. Customer service is great. They emailed me to check on things after purchase and offered solution suggestions to my feedback.There are a couple things that I don’t like. The motion detection is not consistent. I would like to be notified before a person walking through my yard reaches my door or if a car pulls into my yard, however, it doesn’t do that until the person gets directly at the door, even if walking right in front of the camera. However, it will notify me of a person walking their dog across the street or a loud vehicle passing by rapidly. I have adjusted the sensitivity and humanoid detection but can find the sweet spot. The highest sensitivity gives me alot of alerts for what is happening in the street but still not my yard or approaching my door and then the battery dies quickly. I will try to adjust where I have the camera located to see if that helps but as of right now, it is right beside the door facing the majority of my front yard which is about 70 feet to the street.Another thing I don’t like is that there is not continuous recording of continuous motion even with using the SD card for storage. It only notifies you of activity, records for 10 secs and then there is a long gap between it notifying you again and restarting to record another 10 seconds. Lastly, while it is easy to access recordings from the cloud clips in time order or research a specific date and time, it is very hard to do the same with the longer clips recorded on the SD card which is what I prefer to view.Overall, for the cost, it works well enough for my needs but that is only because I have another camera continuosly recording that I can reference if needed.

Great video door bell camera
Camera works great and the app has been smooth as well with no lag. Has great night vision and range is great too. I like that I can carry around the chime as it does not have to be plugged in into the wall. Overall a great choice for the price! Happy with it.

*Edit 2/2/24* The camera has malfunctioned in January 2024, bought in September 2023. I contacted iegeek customer support which has been time consuming and poor. I sent videos to show how the doorbell was operating or not in my case. When they decided that yes the doorbell has malfunctioned I was offered 40% refund or 40% discount off to buy another. When asked about their warranty (as I just wanted a replacement and was willing to send mine back for investigation) they never answered that question. In the end I have been given a 80% refund. My camera had been great until it malfunctioned however customer service are not I’m afraid in my experience.Great piece of kit. Set up is simple and straight forward and is done through the app. You have options with the doorbell to either store recordings on an SD card or for a fee on the cloud. Imaging is very clear both during the day and at night. The doorbell is battery operated and is easy to remove from the bracket to recharge. Included with the doorbell is the bracket or adhesive tape depending on how you want to secure the device and also includes the indoor chime. Highly recommend.
