What’s the difference between RGBIC & RGB?
This Lightstrip is Addressable (RGBIC), which means it’s capable of showcasing multiple colors along the strip at the same time! Non-addressable (RGB) lightstrips on the other hand, can only display one color at a time along the entire strip.
Can this lightstrips only do gradient colors?
This Lightstrip can show a single static color and/or multiple colors at once for dynamic motion effects and gradients. You can also choose from a full range of white lighting temperatures, for cool and warm white.
Can this Lightstrip be trimmed?
You can trim this Lightstrip to a shorter length along any of the indicated cut lines so that it better suits your needs. But keep in mind that any portion of the Lightstrip that is trimmed off cannot be reattached.
Can this Lightstrip be extended?
This Lightstrip is non-extendable, so you cannot connect additional pieces to extend the length.
Can this lightstrip be used to replace my Nanoleaf 4D lightstrip?
No, while both Lightstrips are addressable (you can display multiple colors on them at once), they are not interchangeable.

Great customer service and a great product
I bought two of these sets for my daughter’s room. Firstly, the adhesion is not that great, but having purchased a similar set for my other child’s room a while ago, we were prepared this time to not rely on the adhesive. Regular tape every few inches works perfectly. The lights worked great for about 2 or 3 months and then one set just stopped working. We didn’t think it was the LED strip itself, but the connector from the lights to the power supply seemed less than perfect (the connection was very loose) so we suspected it was that. I contacted the seller, not really holding out much hope, but I was so wrong. Tina immediately sent me an entire replacement box (not just the connector) and followed up to make sure I received it ok. I refitted the connector and power supply today and BOOM! The lights work perfectly!! Thank you for the great customer service and a great product.

Overall, we love these
I put these on the wall behind shoji doors in our house. Overall we actually really love them but they don’t come without a few headaches.The adhesive is not the strongest. I actually had to staple it all along the wall to get it to stay in place. But I’m fine with that solution since you can’t see the staples behind the doors.They are bright, all things considered. However they are not super accurate in terms of colors. If you try to set it to a light blue, you’ll end up with more white. Orange is more yellow. Etc. It’s really good at giving you your primary colors though! And that I can live with. I didn’t really need ultra specific colors anyhow. I just wanted some back lighting.As for the hookup at the connection box, that is why I actually knocked it down a star. The connection is weak and if you bump it, the lights will turn off. We had to tape it with electrical tape. I’m sure I used half a roll, just to get it to stay hooked up and in place. Easily over an hour of my time trying to sort this out.That said though, now that they’re in place and I don’t touch the connection points, they are perfect for the space and I love that they connect with Alexa. All our friends that come over are always super impressed when I just tell Alexa to turn them on and to a specific color.For how nice they look, it was definitely worth the headache. Just leave them be once you out them up!

DOESN’T WORK and came USED!
Remote doesn’t work. Battery dead. No safety plastic to pull out of battery compartment which means someone pulled it prior to me getting it. I bought 2 of these. Pulled safety seal on second remote and still battery nir remote will work. Takes a specialty battery so i don’t have that on hand to try a new one. The tape seal on the light strip roll was broken.. Meaning someone before me had already opened this. It’s used and doesn’t work. The second one the seal is there on the roll but it doesn’t matter because i can’t use remote on either. I downloaded the app thinking that would allow me to control (instructions say yo download an app to use) but that didn’t do anything. Not only can i not use either of these but the app won’t find the device to connect. This sucks!

Great price and footage!
For the price, connectivity options, and the footage of lights – you can’t beat the price! However, the connecting pieces are janky (at best). I was concerned about maintaining connection if I made one, straight line w the lights so you can see in one of the pics where I opted to fold the wires a bit (super pliable, btw!) And taped, not only the bend but also where the pins actually connect too. You can’t tell in the pics, but the second string of lights is a slightly different color, and less bright, than the string that’s connected directly to the base. Last, I tried to take a pic of the bulbs themselves but it didn’t show up well ..however, if you look at the reflection in the countertop, you’ll see that each LED (Red, Blue, and Green) is distinctly noticable. This makes the lights (up close) look cheap (in my opinion). I tested with my Google Home Mini too and it works like a charm – so that is a definite PRO!I’ll live with them for a while and see how I like them over time, but it’s not generally a good sign when you purposely save the box “just in case.”
