    Super bright for a small light
    I’m really impressed with the Govee brand half of their lineup controls my house very easy to set up if you have done before, if not, take it out plug it into a new socket turn on the light. It will turn on go to Govee app and add to your household if you’re using it for Alexa it does require Wi-Fi other than that a great product to stand behind.

    Great Customizable Bulbs, But Be Ready to Tinker
    These Govee bulbs offer tons of cool features—56 dynamic scenes, music sync, and full color control make them versatile and fun. However, they really aren’t the easiest to program. With so many options, setup can be a bit overwhelming, and it’s not very intuitive, especially if you’re hoping to integrate with iOS Shortcuts (which, unfortunately, isn’t seamless at ALL). You can do an API request, and I’m working on that. I think with some practice and exploring the settings, these bulbs will become easier to manage, but if you’re short on time or want a simple plug-and-play option, there may be more user-friendly choices. For those willing to invest the setup time, they’re a solid option with lots of potential!

    Loved these!!
    I just bought these so we will see how long they last. I had gotten another brand before and those bulbs didn’t make it past a year! Decided to try these out. So far I’m loving the app and all the different settings you are able to play with. They are bright enough and easy to set up. I will update if these don’t make it past the year. Fingers crossed 🤞

    Cool little reflector type spot lights
    We moved to an older highrise and the kitchen has an old track light type thing installed as it’s main light. I hated it. I could install some other type of light fixtures there but really didn’t want to go through that process. So I’ve just been putting up with it.Well, no more. Now with these bulbs in it I like it. I didn’t know there were smart bulbs that would fit into that weird GU10 base. But Govee knew what I needed even if I didn’t.So the lights connect easily and quickly in the app. It was a little tedious setting each bulb up separately but it went smoothly.The app offers things you’d expect like full color selection and white and warm white slider, timers to schedule the lights. There’s also a DIY section to set up your own light shows. There’s a bit of a learning curve there. But no bother, Govee provides lots of preset light shows called Scenes.But there’s much more. If you want to control the lights together there are several ways to do that. You can use Scenic DreamView, there’s Groups, or you can set up a Trap-to-Run. That last one let’s you set multiple devices to do certain things. So with one tap you might have these lights come on to a certain setting and have your Govee Tea Kettle start one of its temperature settings. Pretty cool.As great as all those possibilities are Govee missed one great possibility with these lights. Since many people might be using these together in track type lighting set (though they can be used in individual lamps of course) it would’ve been great to have the ability to link them together so they run like a set of lights, like say the Govee down lights or another string of lights. Then Scenes could run back and forth along all the lights in the track lighting. That’s such a missed chance at a cool feature.But besides that one little disappointment, I really like these lights. And they salvaged the awful track lighting choice in the kitchen and made it something I like now.
