I’ve got to talk about these Govee Curtain Lights I picked up recently. As someone who loves LED lights and is a big fan of Govee products, these did not disappoint.First off, the installation was a breeze. Didn’t know I needed this in my life till I got it!
Very glad I got these and they stay up all year long now! These go in between your curtains and the window, you either have to put them between the window and your blinds or have your blinds open to use them so they can be seen outside. Just keep that in mind when planning installations. They are great, bright and have tons of presets for all occasions not just Xmas! Patterns for parties, natural settings shooting stars ext. plus you can make you’re own images and animate them though I haven’t tried this feature. They also update and add patterns.Pros – pretty simple installation, lights are controlled by a phone app, lights can be scheduled and controlled remotely, lights are pretty bright and the animations are great!Con – I wish there were more columns of lights. Don’t get me wrong, they are bright but one thing to consider is that they look better from a distance. What I mean is that if you’re viewing these lights from the street they are great or say about 15 – 20 feet away at least, the image really is easy to see. When you’re close up, it’s much harder to see the pattern. For most uses, this won’t be an issue but if you’re using this where you might be close to the lights, say a patio window, it might not be as clear what the pattern is.Really that’s the only Con. I love these and have Govee all over my house for my TVs and light bulbs. I highly recommend them and for those using DoorDash and that driver keeps missing your house, lol, you can make this a beacon that they can’t miss so they and your new friends going to your dinner party always know which place is yours. The fact that all the presets are seasonal and they even have a football animation for the super bowl makes it a must for techno geeks like myself who love leds!

This curtains are pretty impressive. Purchased them for Christmas as my teen wanted a whole room makeover! Easy to install and my teen got a hang of the app within a few minutes. The video truly doesn’t show these curtains justice at all. They are bright and beautiful and fills her whole room with colour.This peticular video shows the curtains on music mode and the pattern she chose.Also included in this video is the smart floor lamp made by this same company Govee; which I also give 5 stars. Both items combined go in tune with one another and really bring life in to a room.I’m definitely purchasing the smart strip lights next to put around wall mirrors in my little ones bedrooms so they can have cute little dance parties.

I’m a light nut.. I have RGB throughout my gaming setup and many rooms in the house. I have used the brand Twinkly in the past and when something breaks within a year that cost a little over $400, I will not use them again.. I decided to try out the Govee brand and I can say they don’t disappoint.. The app is easy to use and you can create your own designs, or use the always growing list of designs that the company gives you on the app.. If you get bored with those, they have the community designs you can download for free as well. They are ultra bright and can dim down to nearly nothing. So you choose how you want them to look in every aspect.I’m in Australia, so we don’t get too many of the Govee products here unfortunately. I’m hoping to get more for Xmas 2024 as I want to do my house up with lights that are all in sync.. Fingers crossed I can buy more..Great product and does exactly what it’s supposed to do…
