    The stand has a charging plug for the camera that it securely sits on. Is magnetic to help secure to the stand. Comes with electrical cable to connect to stand and plug into outlet. Works great.

    It works the way it’s supposed to. Don’t buy a Nest camera dock from a name you don’t recognize or you might be disappointed. This is the third Google Nest stand I have purchased and they work perfectly. The first dock that I purchased was from a company I have never heard of (for $4 less than the Google product) and it didn’t charge the battery and sometimes didn’t work at all. These cameras don’t work unless they are attached to the magnetic mount they are shipped or with a functional stand. The magnetic mounts work great outside, but a stand is required inside a house unless you want it screwed into a wall. This is the product you need for indoor use.

    Google devices are normally high quality and this was no different. Quite happy with the purchase. Allows camera to run all the time. Cord is probably 4 ft long which is good and not too long where it gets in the way. Overall good purchase. Already got another one so why don’t you

    This mount allows us to easily mount our nest camera as a baby monitor in various locations, with or without being plugged in. Wish the charge cord was USBC so we didn’t have to add another specific cord to the mix when traveling, but other than that, this thing was a great purchase.
