    It work
This is my dog’s door bell. Mounted on a block on the steps outside my garage door. She rings the bell when she wants to come in. Works great. We wore out the previous one.

    Works great
Could never tell when someone was at the door. This was easy to install and really loud. In fact I turned the volume down quite a bit. Had to work a little setting the chiming unit so it worked for both front and back door. Tried several different outlets and finally got one that received the signal for both buttons. Happy with the unit and recommend it to anyone who wants a door bell with almost no installation labor. Oh, the westminster chime goes on for quite a while so I just set it for the single and double bing bong type chimes.

Initial manufacturing problem, once overcome, works as advertised.
Great for front and back door. They should have made both buttons able to select ring pattern instead of limiting one to a default single ring; at least it should of had a double ring so you can hear it better. Manufacturing problem discovered when the first buttons didn’t work with the shorting bar and they sent me new ones. The new ones didn’t work either and I discovered there was no metal in the shorting bars. I talked with a rep. and explained the issue; she said she would notify quality control. I had a shorting bar from my work inventory, used it and everything worked fine.

    Simple to use
There are two doorbell buttons; the instructions read like you can set each one to ring a different tone but that did not seem to be possible. We couldn’t make it work; otherwise it works great!

    It’s okay
I like the door bell but sometimes with frequency gets caught up with the lady 3 houses down from me. I had a problem with the back door button getting wet and not working correctly. So I took it down for now. I’m trying to figure out how to fix that problem. it is nice having 2 different bells for 2 different doors. I plugged the bell box into a surge protector. It gets warm but I made sure it’s out in the open and not tucked behind the couch. So over all, I rings when it’s pushed and my front door is downstairs. I’m on the second floor. I can attempt to change the frequency but when it gets really bad I will. Other than that I plays different chimes and has an adjustable volume.

    Great wireless doorbell
Had an addition put on my house. Weeks later we noticed the electrician forgot to wire up the doorbell button. He had extended the wire, just forgot to put up the button. Then the siding was put on & the location of the wires was lost. So instead of ripping off the siding until the wiring was located, I decided to use a wireless doorbell. I actually touched the “one-click ordering” by mistake on this set-up while I was looking for what was available. But instead of trying to cancel the order, I thought I’d give it a try. I wasn’t expecting much at $25.00 but I like Heath/zenith products. Well, to my surprise this is a really great wireless doorbell. The inside ringer part plugs into a wall socket, so no batteries…Great! The outside button though uses a tiny A23 battery ( like a 1/2 AAA battery). The insert states the battery should last 2years? But as far as it functioning, I don’t think you could find a place outside the house that the button wouldnt activate the chime. The chime is Very loud when the volumn turned to Max. The button can be screwed in place or you can use the double sided tape that’s supplied with the bell/chime. All in all, I’m am very pleased. I’m glad I ordered it by mistake & that I didn’t cancel the order. So if you find yourself in a situation like I was in, or if you just want to add a doorbell/chime & don’t want to have to deal with an electrician ( or do it yourself), I highly recommend this set up. In less that 5 minutes, I had a doorbell on my back door again. And it sounds GREAT….I love the Westminster chimes! The Dog & the Cats hates it?

    Bitter disappointment ..
This product is a perfect example of you get what you pay for, I loved the idea of being able to plug it into the wall and not have to change batteries . The downside is you have to be into the same room as the receiver or it will not work ,I placed the button exactly 8 feet from the unit plugged into the wall and neither button would work. I could only get the receiver to work when I was in the same room i.e. my living room otherwise it would not even penetrate a glass door. Needless to say I am packing it up and shipping it back. My search is still on however I’m going to have to up my price range for a better unit, the one I had before lasted for eight years now if I can only remember where I got it..

Finally a door bell that uses lithium battery…
Not the miniature regular battery that needs replacement constantly! And two —for the gate and actual front door! Works perfectly and affordable too! I bought as backup and threw the old other last old door chime out!!! Working like a charm for those of us who like locked gates and security!
