I had gosund smart plugs that worked on 2.4 gig. I had to replace my router and then the 2.4 would not work. Ordered the 5G. G home plugs and they work great. Very happy with my purchase. Easy to set up using my already downloaded gosund.app.

Extract: if you want to connect them to 5Ghz band, make sure your phone is connected to Ghz band.Details: I am still testing these. They are fairly new and it is strange that they are not being offered in the ghome website yet.. perhaps they want to see how they perform. I am not giving five stars because there is a lack of clear directions to connect them to 5Ghz band, at least for routers that have dual bands (2.4 and 5 ghz). Some routers have only one band, but mine offers the two separate bands, so I can choose which one wants for each device. The older 2.4 ghz band is limited to 32 devices, but the the more you have, the more congested the network and the more prone to momentary connection failures.That is why I wanted to try these guys which can be manage with Gosund app that I am used to (it appears is the same company as ghome). The tiny instruction manual offered connecting through Alexa app as a first option, but I wanted to set it through Gosund app rather than Alexa, which feels too intrusive for me. Through Gosund app, y first plug only offered me the option of connecting to 2.4 ghz, Which I did. Then later I made sure my phone was connected to the 5 Ghz band and then the Gosund app showed the option to connect this smart plug to that band. Great. I will update this review in a couple days, once I have tested the other two smart plugs of the package.

Works fine
My old switches only worked on 2.4G and my new router wouldnât hook up because itâs 5G. These are 5G switches and hooked up easily. The old ones also turned off if there was a power outage and had to be turned back on with my phone. My aquarium light would be off until I checked on it with my camera. This switch remembers its last setting and the light comes back on when the power is restored. When out of town this is important. So far I like these switches.

15 amp strong
Working great with our whole house dehumidifier. I initially used a 10 amp WiFi plug but it failed after two months. Electrician suggested replacing it with a 15 amp.I have the whole house dehumidifier powered from 9 am to 5 pm. Reason being our house stays pretty comfortable with the AC set at 80 until late afternoon when we have to turn it down. So I thought why should we be running the dehumidifier while the AC is doing that job.

Smart outlets work as described. Using tuya smart app install easily, turn on and off on outlet or phone, schedule active periods or smart scene based off of other devices.Awesome that you can turn outlet light off to prevent extra light in dark room.Example that work well for me. One hooked up to heated Mattress to turn on when cold during sleeping hours.One hooked to fan to turn on when warm or humid, turn off when cold.One to restart router daily to try and help it work better.I think I’m going to use the last one on TV to turn on and start pictures during active periods.

Set up took 4 trys to get it set up
I love I can now turn on and off things in my massage office from home. Having had a few sleepless nights not remembering if I turned off my hot towel cubby or my hot stones. I ordered this.The 1st time I tried to set them up I discoverwd the QR code supplied no longer functioning so I downloaded the app manually only to discover the website was down.The next day I returned to my office my 1st two attempts it failed to connect to the outlet. It did connect on the 3rd attempt all was good. The 2nd and 3rd outlets were supper fast to connect.I do wish when I open the app the power button was black for off and green or some other color for on but it stays black and you must open each plug to see if they are on or not.
