They mention it brightens up their space, the quality of the light is great, and the app is easy and simple to operate. Some also say the integration with Google Home is seamless and the pairing to WiFi is straightforward. However, some customers feel the value for money is not worth the price, they dislike connectivity, and have mixed opinions on functionality and Alexa compatibility.

Easy to use, A lot of color and brightness options
I love these so much that I wish I could afford to replace all of my lightbulbs with these. They were easy to install, and the app is incredibly easy to use. It was easy to connect them to my Google Home and the commands work really well. I have three in my living room, and I can turn all of them on or off at once or just one at a time. Not only do you have the different daylight options which are absolutely incredible and well done, but there is a color wheel that allows you to really customize the color if you prefer to have a color option. There are also a limited number of flashing light options available. I tested out party and Christmas, and they were really funThese bulbs do not get hot which is always a fear with special types of lightbulbs, but after being on for hours, they are still cool to touch.

so cool! works great with the cync app and google assistant
The color range is good. There’s a range of the blue color that has an almost blacklight effect. I’ve been using the same three regular single color Cync bulbs in the living room for several years, so I’m not worried about longevity, etc. I got these RGB bulbs for two bedrooms.So. Freaking. Cool. The google assistant only understands base colors, so for fine tuning color you need to use the Cync app manually. So far Google has been able to use primary colors, plus teal, purple and pink AND some of the Cync lighting effects (Vegas, party, etc). I still have a lot of testing to do to map out all the capabilities, but sometimes Google Assistant “doesn’t understand” a color or effect request – “Ok google, set bedroom 1 to red. Ok Google set bedroom 1 to 50%” “Ok Google, set all lights to 30%” etc, etc.Speaking of the Cync app, setup is ridiculously simple and it updates the devices to the latest firmware when you first setup them up in the app. Integration with Google Assistant (and I’m assuming Alexa) is really simple as well. Also in the Cync app, the “routines” are fabulous. I have the living room lights set to come on at 40% at sunset (as determined by zip code) and go off at midnight. I set the bedroom lights to match the morning alarm times we have setup. The lights will come on to red a minute before my alarm sounds in the morning. (red is the best color, easiest on they eyes, to wake up to. that’s science.)I’m really very happy with this purchase at the Prime Day price of $13, but it’s easily worth the regular asking price. The only possible way these Cync A19 Smart LED bulbs could be better is if they had a 100W equivalent version, but I am happy with the 60W product.

    Essential kaleidoscope for the hearth
Smart bulbs are good for three things: Security, entertainment and comfort. Security because one can remotely turn on lights which can deter agents of the night. Entertainment because one can select a color to frame the mood including party flashing lights or subtle romantic ambiances. Comfort because the color and intensity of light can enhance the environment.I had always wanted them, and had my sights on the Phillips Hue smart bulb. When it comes to electronics, I’ve learned the hard way to only go with brands that I trust and recognize. The Phillips brand is a well known one, but the bulb was way too expensive. There are much cheaper bulbs but they are from obscure brands. And then I saw these. GE is a household name and these bulbs are far cheaper than the Phillips. When they arrived I followed the instructions, inserted the bulbs into their receptacles, turned them on and added them using the proprietary Cync app which I easily found and downloaded to my Android phone. I then added the two bulbs to the Google Home app on my phone. Now, turning on my home office light for example is as simple as commanding my Google Assistant to do so verbally. This answered the one question that I needed clarity on: whether I needed any hardware other than my phone to operate these bulbs. I do not.It has all the colors on the spectrum, and can imitate settings like the flickering of a candle or sunset. The light can be dimmed or enhanced in intensity. These are also rated to last 15 times longer than regular bulbs. The software could be better, and hence the reason for docking this review one point. The app doesn’t always connect immediately and can get hung up. But it always eventually resolves itself. Also, it only seems to work with Google Home when I am within my home’s WIFI range. But I can control the bulbs wirelessly from anywhere in the world including at home with the Cync app. Hence, I use either app to control the bulbs, depending on where I am. I am happy with the purchase.N.B. I bought both the A19 and the A21 models. The A19 model is the basic house bulb, rated at 60 watts. It worked in every receptacle I installed it in the house. The A20 is a slightly but noticeably larger bulb, both in height and diameter, rated for 100 watts. It is more selective, and would not work for my front porch. It is also significantly brighter than the A19. It’s now my habit to turn on the family room light remotely if I am not home, so that my dog does not have to sit in the dark.

    Love these using Google Home!
Love that the setup process for these (first through the GE app, then link the app to your Google home and you’re all set) is so easy!Love the colors I can set them to and the different brightness levels with just one command. “Hey Google, set my kitchen lights to purple at 25%.”I’m not fancy OR at all rich and my apartment is very nice but not terribly large – but, having these lights installed make me feel fancy and I love it.This brand is also a lot cheaper than most others, so that’s a big bonus!

    Premiere HUE alternative
At a fraction of the price and without the need for a central hub, CYNC is a great budget alternative to Phillips’ premiere offering. I have tons of these bulbs and whenever I move they’re fairly easy to set up. The app sometimes takes some time to load which can be annoying, but the breadth of products and apparent quality so far more than make up for them.

Si bien cuesta un poco configurarlos con Alexa, vale la pena, llevo casi 3 años con ellos y funcionan al 100. Tienen buena iluminación, no se desconectan y son de excelente calidad.

I bought these to set up in my room to wake me up in the morning with light. It worked perfectly. The only thing is, you have to keep your lights on from the switch and only turn them on and off from your phone. But it’s easy to get used to.
