I couldn’t be happier with the FOSCAM 4K/8MP Wireless Outdoor Security Camera! This camera delivers exceptional image quality with its 4K resolution, ensuring every detail is crystal clear, whether it’s during the day or at night with the incredible 165FT color night vision. I have a bunch of Foscam cameras throughout our property for surveillance and security along with see what our dog is doing when we aren’t home.The dual-band WiFi compatibility (5GHz & 2.4GHz) ensures a strong, stable connection, making remote monitoring seamless. I’m particularly impressed by the AI-powered human and vehicle detection, which minimizes false alarms and provides accurate alerts. The auto-tracking and 360° pan-and-tilt functionality are fantastic, allowing me to monitor my property comprehensively without any blind spots.The 4X optical zoom is a standout feature, letting me zoom in for detailed views without compromising image quality. A Solid Great Performing Outdoor Camera
Background: I have owned the following surveillance camera brands: Reolink, Kasa, Foscam, Zmodo and Wansview. I’m a photographer and greatly care about image quality.***Disclaimer: I was contacted by Foscam test and review this camera, I was reimbursed for the purchase of the camera. In no way was I directed to add bias to my review.Camera: The camera was boxed in a nice secure package. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the camera housing is made out of metal! All my other cameras are plastic and some of them have broke. So I’m very happy that this camera housing is metal, especially at this price point.Set up: The set up was easy, however when I got the camera mounted on my roof, I couldn’t connect it. I don’t think it was the cameras, fault because I have a complex home network. To fix the problem I brought the camera down from the roof, reset the camera, and the reconnected it. While WIfi, is good, I used an ethernet cable to ensure told quality and security.Image Quality: I’m very pleased with the image quality. My primary purpose for buying this camera was to watch the weather. The frame rate is great so cars, birds, clouds, moving objects look natural on the screen. Pro tip: Use the desktop app to change the frame rate to 30 for a more smooth image. Night images are also very good. The infrared works very well. Colors are natural and the image is crisp and sharp. I have viewed the image on my 70 inch tv and it still looks great!Movement: The camera is very response with very little lag when moving the camera. The zoom is a little slow, but I don’t plan on using that very much.Overall: I’m very please with this camera and for what you get, its an amazing deal.

Great Day and Night Video
Camera has great night vision, easily can view over 100 ft at night. Tracking works good, although I don’t need it or use it. I mainly use it for wildlife viewing and security is second. SD card records events like I want and app shows a calendar of those events. Overall my best Foscam camera. WiFi 5 or 2.4G works well.

Excellent Product
Excellent video, audio and picture quality. We own 2 other Foscam cameras and this one by far has exceeded our expectations.
