    Great camera
    Awesome little camera. I have over a dozen cameras on my CCTV setup and most of them are Foscam. They have been super reliable, easy to setup, and great picture quality. The app is good but I use Blue Iris to record them. Just ordered some more for a new location.

    Great Product, Easy to Install
    This camera is a very nice product. It has a heavy duty housing that can withstand being installed outside. The installation was very easy and the mounting bracket allows for many different installation types. Like always the setup in the app is simple, it uses the same process as other Foscam products which is scanning a barcode, entering your wifi information and then it does the rest. It has several added features such as the spot lights and a siren that can be controlled manually or automatically through motion detection. The built-in SD card slot is a nice added feature for saving videos. I will definitely be getting more of these.

    Great little camera if you have to go wireless
    I purchased this Foscam 4k camera to evaluate. I have several cameras at my home and all are POE and hard wired. The thought of adding a camera to my out-building was pretty intriguing. I was worried that although I have a robust wi-fi system, that there may be problems with quality of video while trying to stream high resolution video. To further complicate the problem, this camera is inside a metal building. I would like to report that this camera works great. The picture is crystal clear even in complete darkness because of the IR lighting and the video streaming is smooth. I still have to find the final location for this camera, but it seems to work very well on all parts of my property. I recommend it.

    Ok, but not great
    This camera has significantly more edge distortion due to the wide angle than the Amcrest camera that I replaced. The old camera the WIFI died. The setup in the app has to be done first without the wired connection. When I set it up with the wired then tried to setup the Wifi, it wouldn’t take my password. Said “passwords can’t contain spaces” which of course I didn’t enter. It seemed not to like the ‘=’ character in my password. Worked fine when I reset the camera, then just used the app without the wired connection. When I reset the device I noticed that the heat sink inside next to the reset button was too hot to touch. Not sure why it is burning so much power. Seems like it might be an issue during the heat of summer. Also, they really shouldn’t advertise 6X zoom when it’s just a blowup of the picture. The picture quality decreases drastically when zoomed. I could not read the tag on my truck about 50ft away when zoomed. Really deceptive marketing! Also they are really trying to push their Cloud services. A lot of things don’t work without this! The things that are good are: 1. decent price; 2. reasonable image quality when not zoomed; 3. supports SD recording.I wish I had bought another of their SD4H cameras! Worth the extra $.

    Easy setup and great video
    I used this camera to replace an older camera to monitor the area in front of my garage. It provides a much wider area of video coverage and the great optical zoom is a real plus. The motion detection seems to be very accurate, and I plan to do some fine tuning in that area if possible. As of right now, I am mostly pleased with this camera. The video recording is not as good as I was expecting and I am hopefull that some adjustments can be made to improve the quality.

    Great camera, easy to setup
    This is a great camera that is easy to setup. It takes less than 5 minutes to add it to my network. I currently have 8 foscam cameras at my home. The video quality on these newer cameras is very good.

    App only – no web interface
    This camera cannot be set up without an app and registering for a Foscam account. There is no web interface where you can make simple configuration changes. I intended to use this with my NVR but couldn’t even get the device set up through the app. It finds the camera and completes the setup but when I attempt to view footage it counts from 1% to 100% and then states that it fails to connect. The app found the camera so I cannot understand why it cannot display footage. My NVR was unable to connect either. Returning the camera and back to Reolink it is.
