The Most Inexpensive High Quality 360 Outdoor Camera You Can Buy
I have been waiting for this camera from EZVIZ. I own other EZVIZ cameras and they have met my needs. I was; however, waiting for this outdoor 360 view camera to add to my collection. I use them mainly for monitoring inside and outside my home. Once you become familiar with the EZVIZ app and how to add devices it’s a breeze to add new devices. This camera I will put to use in my backyard to view our wildlife visitors. You are not going to find a less expensive 360 camera that is durable and the live video is outstanding in quality. You can pan almost 360 horizontally and vertically and zoom with the C8C Lite which I purchased. It’s worth the extra $10. I do not use my EZVIZ cameras for security only monitoring. This camera allows you to hear things but doesn’t allow you talk through the camera like the other EZVIZ cameras I have. But that’s a function I can live with out for this particular camera. So far am thrilled. You do need to have an electricity source for this camera and it can connect with WiFi to your phone and also there is Windows 10 software to view life video on a computer monitor. It says you can cast your live video to your Google and Alexa Devices; however, you must turn off your camera encryption security so I choose the security and don’t cast to Google and Alexa devices. The night vision on this camera is also really good. Much better than the other EZVIZ cameras that we have. You can see much further than before. You have a choice to get the monthly subscription to save more video, but I choose not to and use the 256 micro card to save the past 24 hours. This is a weakness; however, in the product – they restart the 24 hours at midnight. So if you don’t review the footage in time it erases the evening prior. That just happened with the recent software update. They probably did it to force the purchase of a monthly cloud storage subscription. We live with the flaw and choose all the other positives of the EZVIZ brand.

Works on DSL
I purchased this camera so I can keep track of our cabin in a remote area of Maine without cable or WiFi access. We only have a DSL connection with less than 1 Mbps upload speed. I was unsure if this camera would work on DSL but it does. However, it doesn’t work well at HiDef with DSL but the standard resolution is still sharp. Pan and tilt works well. Night vision is also sharp even at standard resolution. The phone app works perfectly and is easy to set up. I don’t use motion detection so I can’t comment on that. It’s comforting to know that I can check up on the cabin at anytime.

Awesome pic quality. Easy set up and flawless. I’m super happy and impressed with the flawless functionality. It even works remarkably well (app on phone) without wi-fi when I’m checking my live feed. AWESOME value for the money!

I purchased this and installed quickly. Being my 4th product from EZVIZ I was familiar. All the cameras pop up in the app after adding without issue. The clarity of this camera is really good, even at night I feel like I’d see someone in front of my house clearly. I will be purchasing more.

I use this in my garage and it sometimes likes to think junk in the garbage looks human enough to trigger an alarm. I constantly need to shift things around. I also get false alarms when it switches from black and white (night mode) to color. If the light is right between where the camera detects it goes off all the time. I have picture changing detection off and only human detection on and it still does it. Drives me bonkers. I have 3 other evziz cams and don’t have this problem.
