Basic but functional floodlight camera
eufy security cameras aren’t the most cutting edge product on the market but they’re hugely popular and a great choice for those who don’t want to spend all day installing and configuring a more complex system. They deliver a lot of performance and features in a small-ish package and for a reasonable price point. This camera has a 360 degree horizontal pan, AI detection and alert of people, animals and vehicles, and a combo telephoto/wide angle camera. A lot of mid-market cameras have only 2.4Ghz wifi but this one delivers dual band Wi-Fi 6 which allows you to connect at 5GHz as well as 2.4GHz. The spotlights can deliver up to 2,000 lumen but can also be adjusted to your particular needs. Storage is to a microSD card or the eufy Home Base S380 which gives you a much bigger storage and 24/7 coverage. Well worth the investment to get the base station. Just a generally good camera that is easy to set up and use. Highly recommended!

We’ve tried a lot of different security cameras that don’t require hard-wiring, subscriptions, or other complicated setups. Eufy has been a frontrunner for us for a blend of video quality, performance, app, and price. This camera is no different. The video quality is great. It may not be top of the market, but it’s really good for its class. The service is reliable and I don’t even need a micro sd card with the base station. I love how flexible the light and other settings are, and love especially the 360 pan and tilt with motion tracking as our primary purpose for security cameras is wildlife.
