    Exactly what I wanted for the right price
    Once I got my Google Home stuff, I knew one of the first things I wanted to get to accompany it was a smart light bulb for my bedroom. I have limited space in my room and on my nightstand, so a bedside lamp has not been ideal. Now I can just get into bed and tell the light to dim or turn off–That’s amazing. Or when I wake up, being able to say, “Hey Google, turn the light on to 10%,” so that I can gradually get acclimated to the light, is fantastic.I have no complaints about this product so far (I’ve had it a few weeks). It was easy to install and set up, the app works well too if I don’t want to use voice commands (but for the most part I do), and…. yeah, I love it! Would recommend to anyone looking for like an entry level smart bulb. I don’t know what makes the pricier ones better, but this one covers the basics just fine!

    First of all I am a real unpaid Amazon customer. This is a pretty nice remote bulb. Installation is as simple as screwing it in to whatever lamp base you’re going to use. The actual setup a Wi-Fi using the app is pretty straightforward according to the directions you get. I have an Alexa Echo Dot and connecting to that was a little more difficult. There are a lot of steps to getting it connected so that you can control it my voice. Took me probably a little over an hour to figure it all out. Was worth the effort. Teacher is awesome. If you’re using the app there’s a basic slide control for what percentage of brightness you prefer. If using Alexa, you simply tell her what percentage you want or just simply turn lamp on or turn lamp. This bulb feels really well-made.VeSync did a good job with this item.

    Does what says it will DO!
    Absolutely LOVE this item! Set-up is ACTUALLY a breeze and responsive! Which has not been so with other So-Called “Easy Set-up Products” This one performs well and actually gave me ZERO frustration with the setup of both the light and w/Alexa App. Super easy to create a routine with Alexa, I love the convenience of setting it and forget it. I used the first one on my ext porch light which is covered. Much to my surprise, the bulb is very bright and illuminates a good 10-18′ from my front door out to the driveway.I’ve just ordered two more to replace some dying Dusk to Dawn units.Definitely purchase these based on all positive reviews, functionality, and great communication from the seller as they appreciate any opportunity to assist and welcome product feedback.

    Solid dimmable bulb with fairly easy setup
    I have been an avid user of etekcity devices and the bulb is just as solid as most of the other devices. Installation was very simple and the light stays connected to the network unlike some other smart home devices. The only reason I’ve given it four stars is because of the app, while very intuitive and functional (especially compared to the older versions) I don’t like control of my devices to be hosted on a server in China with very basic encryption.

    Love this bulb! Perfect lighting, easy to install and use the app and hook up to Alexa. It fit my floor lamp perfectly. It’s pretty heavy though lol I had to tighten my lamp because it went crooked when I put it in there, it wasn’t tightened all the way. It’s so nice to not have to get up to turn off the light all the time. I’ve been having issues with bee’s in my room though and they fly to the lamp and kinda go crazy, must be the wifi signal.

    Bulb won’t connect to app!
    This product might be really good if I could actually get it to work. The problem I’m having seems to be with having the right WiFi settings. It works if set to 2.4 ghz …the box says. Well, I’m not a computer savvy person so I have zero idea how to do that so the bulb and the app can’t connect to one another. It would have been nice to have instructions for people like me to make things “foolproof.”I am a physically disabled person and the thought of controlling my bedroom light with a click on my tablet was exciting, but now I’m here with a product that isn’t working as advertised. Manually the light turns on fine, but the whole point of getting this was so I can remain in bed and use my tablet to control the light when needed …that’s not happening. :(Disappointed and really sad about it.

    Exceptional customer service!!
    Worked great for a few months now it just constantly disconnects and gives the message that its “not responsive”. The only way to fix it is to remove the bulb from the app and do a reinstall. You then have to set up your routine actions in Alexa all over again.Updated review: We were recently contacted by product support following our initial review and while we may have experienced issues with the bulb, their customer service has been outstanding. They resolved the issue and followed up many times to make sure we were happy. I would definitely recommend their products and will certainly purchase from them again.

    Easy set up. Excellent price point. Reliable. BUY!
    Fantastic. I’ve been pleased with the ease of use of my Etekcity smart plugs and thought I would try a bulb for my front door. It arrived quickly (thank you Amazon) and took me all of 5 minutes to get this thing installed and programmed since I already had the app and the Alexa set up for the plugs. I have tried and failed several times with some other brands that were more expensive and can’t recommend these enough! A friend of mine in IT set me up with the plugs and I am so very glad. Just buy!
