Go for color bulbs!
I really enjoy the ability to change the light colors so easily. I have a pair in the master bedroom and do wish I could either figure out or have enabled a way to change both bulbs’ colors at the same time. It’s difficult to get they to look exactly the same tuning one bulb at a time. I love the color bulbs – returned the warm white in favor of the color bulbs and am buying four more color bulbs for another’s spot in my home. Setting scenes is what I’m most excited about – a preset for color and intensity all with one touch!

Hub setup not obvious – make sure you have a bar code scanner installed
When I first set up the hub I could not get the app to recognize the hub at all. It kept giving me a useless message about refreshing the list. It turns out that the problem was that my phone didn’t have a bar code scanner installed. The setup process uses that to scan the back of the hub and matches the code to the app. Thinking about his afterward, this makes total sense. I just wish the documentation told you that so you don’t waste time before starting this.Apart from that, no issues so far.

The bulbs are probably energy efficient because they never turn on. This product is honestly one of the worst smart light bulbs I have ever buy. Every time I try to change the color of them with Alexa, it will turn them blue no matter what color I mentioned.

We love these color and white bulbs! The hub kit works great and was easily setup. We use Alexa to control the lights and setup scenes like going to bed and waking up. The kids are impressed! And so am I!

A bit confusing to get to work, at first. I don’t understand why the hub, and smart phone need to be on the same wireless network vs. my phone using mobile data, but it does work.Nothing truly special. There is only one “mode”: disco, and haven’t been able to get it to do much else, except change colors.

Absolute garbage
i got these because i’ve always wanted phillips hue lights so i thought i’d try these because they are a fraction of the price and how bad can they be?Well, pretty bad actually! I received them and the packaging was all beat up and it really looked like i might’ve gotten a used product, even though i bought them new? The connection process was a nightmare, i could not get them to connect and the app kept crashing, making the lights unusable, i mean unless you want to pay $80 for a regular lightbulb that doesn’t change color, go for it, but you’re probably better off just getting the real thing instead of these cheap knock-offs.just get phillips hue or any other knock-off on amazon, because this is an absolutely garbage product.
