Please note that these switches are rated to 600W for halogen and old style incandescent lights. But if you have LED lights which will be the majority of us, they are rated only up to 300W for LED and CFL. Keep that in mind for your overall circuit.We had replaced a bunch of overhead ceiling lights throughout our house. Those lights were too bright for some rooms so we gave this dimmer switch a try. It was easy to install. And they do work. The lowest setting does not take it to near dark. However, we just want a better ambient light so we never got down that far with the dimming. If you need to get yours lights down to barely emitting, then you may have issues with this product.Overall, the dimmer switch for well for our need.

I have researched and ordered plenty of dimer switches that cost many different prices. These are the best when I factor the price, look, quality, and the noise. When clicking these on and off the noise is almost non-existent. The really expensive switches that do the same job are very noisy. I love these quiet switches.

I recently purchased a home and I am upgrading all of the light switches and the power outlets in the house. I used several of the USB power outlets, also by the same brand, placing two in at least every room. So when I needed some dimmer switches, I decided to try this brand since I had such good luck from the USB charging outlets. So far this switch is working great, was easy to install, and does a great job at dimming the lights in my half bath. Given the cost of some competitive brands, this is definitely a great price to quality ratio and I recommend giving it a try.

Easy installation
I’ve not had any problems with this dimmer switch which was easy enough to install. I really liked the fact you don’t need wire nuts with these, so you don’t end up struggling to cram everything into the electrical box. Just push the wires into the receptable as directed on the back and make sure they’re secure. This didn’t dim as much as I thought it should, but my experience with dimmers has been limited to 15-year old models that worked on incandescent lights. I did find this made a tiny buzzing sound, but had to get up close to hear it. As it turned out, we painted the wall a dark charcoal color and ended up swapping this out for a black outlet of a different brand – which also had a slight buzz and didn’t dim as much as I thought it should. So my guess is this is the new normal.
