Great and easy to use with Alexa devices
I’m really happy with these. I followed their simple instructions to plug them in and then told Alexa to discover devices. I did it one at a time. Within a minute she located it and named the first one ‘plug 1’ (as I recall). I was able to go onto my Echo Show and change the name to what I wanted (e.g. Christmas tree, bedroom, etc.). So now I can say “Alexa, turn on the Christmas tree” or “Alexa, turn on the bedroom” and . . . voila! Let there be light!!Definitely recommend and plan to buy more.

Don’t Know Your Wifi Password? Alexa Dot, Echo or Firecube? Super Easy Setup. BLE Creates Mesh.
First, if you’re not used to setting up IOT devices, or you have no idea what IOT is, these will likely work pretty well for you. Because these are BLE, they “connect” to the “hub”, meaning Alexa detects them, pretty easily.If you don’t know what your Wifi Password is, or if someone else set all that up for you, you can still set these up. The key thing is you have to have an ALexa device that can act as a hub, so that’s probably a dot, echo or a firecube.I’ve used these for awhile now and experienced no drop outs. Overall, I really like these plug, even though I have a lot of IOT devices. I’ve used 4 of these (basically a daisy chain) to create a mesh network to a location which is pretty much on the edge of my WiFi connectivity. The plug at the end of the daisy chain works better with these vs. typical IOT devices which need a strong LAN WiFi signal.NEW To IOT? MAYBE THIS WILL HELP.As these connect initially via BLE (and then via mesh with other plugs/devices), to connect them:A. Plug ONE into an outlet. Because this uses BLE, plug a few feet away from the hub (a dot or firetv or whatever).B. Make sure the device is flashing blue (pairing).C. Say “Alexa Discover Devices”D. Alexa will find the device. She will call it “smart plug” and then a number.C. Write the number on the plug until you know what you want to use it for, but you can rename it in Alexa to whatever.If you need to use one of some of these in a location that is a bit further from the original plug, you may need to setup a couple along the way so that the mesh network has enough devices to create connectivity. (The mesh devices can talk to each other so they can pass along the instructions of one of the plugs is a bit further away from the hub.)Once the plug is set up, you can go to the alexa app and create a schedule, or you can talk to Alexa to tell her to “turn on plug {number}” and she will. Or when you go into the Alexa app, you can rename the plug to “humidifier” or whatever you are using it for, so that it’s easier to just say “Alexa, turn on the humidifier”.Overall, these are really great plugs. If you already have IOT devices, but need extras at the edge of your Wifi connectivity, these fit right in. If you ‘re an IOT newbie, they are super simple to setup, even if you forgot your WiFi password.

Reliable and Easy-to-Use Smart Plugs for Seamless Alexa Integration
The EIGHTREE Smart Plugs have been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. I used them to control two LED lighted mirrors in the bathrooms, paired with motion sensors, and set up a routine in Alexa to turn on the plugs whenever motion is detected. The integration worked flawlessly, and the responsiveness has been spot on.One tip for setup: Since I’ve used EIGHTREE Smart Plugs before I didn’t bother reading the instructions haha, so initially, I tried adding the plugs to the Smart Life app, but Alexa couldnât control them and kept reporting the device as disconnected. After some troubleshooting, I discovered you need to add the plugs directly through the Alexa app. Choose âOtherâ as the manufacturer and âBluetoothâ as the connection method. Once I did this, the plugs connected perfectly and have worked without any issues.Overall, these plugs are reliable, easy to set up, and offer great functionality with Alexa. Theyâre perfect for automating appliances or lights, and the Bluetooth mesh network ensures stable performance without bogging down your Wi-Fi. Highly recommended!

Easy to configure and use with Alexa
This smart plug is very easy to configure and use, although the fully automatic auto discovery procedure did not work in my case , it was easy to set it up using the Alexa app and the activate as “other” as indicated in the instructions. I have it programmed to turn on external light at sunset and turn them off after some time. No issues so far as it is well integrated with Alexa’s smart home environment. It also includes manual switch to turn it on and off if needed.A factor to take into account is the size of the product, although once installed in a double outlet does not obstruct the second one, the space left could be small for certain plugs to fit in as shown in the photo, just to be aware.

Works great, simple setup
This smart plug is a good device, works as it should and is easy to set up. My Echo Dot did not auto-discover it, but I had no difficulties adding it through the Alexa app on my phone. Once set up I’ve had no connection issues or problems with it. I’ve moved it to several locations around the house just to test it out, and it’s worked flawlessly wherever I’ve tried it, some spots even a little out it’s range. The size of it is good as it only takes up one outlet space on a standard duplex wall outlet. I’m very satisfied with this product, it functions better than other similar smart plugs I’ve tried that continually lose connection and are difficult to re-pair.
