Great sound !
I really like this Eco Pop. I have two Eco dots but this one has really nice bass. I also like the Eco plug that came with it. I plugged in my Christmas tree lights to it. I just tell Alexa to turn on my tree lights at a certain time and she does it. Also I tell her when to turn them off and she does that too. I really like that feature. I also like that I can tell Alexa; “Alexa play music on Party Time”, and she will have the same songs playing on all three of my units, Eco Pop, and 2 Eco dots. I have music upstairs and downstairs. It’s great when I’m cleaning my house.

Addicting
Working in IT, specifically security, I was always resistant to the whole smart home concept. This purchase turned me around. Within a week of getting this dot, I went on and bought one for each of our bedrooms. Alexa is great and works with my Roku TVs, Wiz smart bulbs, and Roku smart home lights and cameras. There are tons more of options when it comes to integration. Needless to say, I’ve changed my opinion on smart home.

I didnât think Iâd use it
This came with a Christmas tree I ordered. I never thought it would be so handy. I figured it would be stored for the year with the tree. Nope. It hooked up to my Nest, TV, bedroom light and a couple smart plugs. I didnât know what I was missing. My only gripe would be the sound quality when I play music in the great room. Itâs not great, but this isnât exactly a high end choice. I like it!

This is Spoiling Me
The Echo Pop is connected to a Smart Plug that our Christmas tree lights are plugged into. Totally enjoying telling it to turn on and off the tree lights from across the room. I have also used it for music but am disappointed that the music cannot sync with that playing on the Echo Show in our kitchen. Shouldnât they âtalkâ to each other? Or would that wreak havoc? Maybe itâs best this way.
