This fits perfectly with the ring doorbell battery plus. My doorbell is in area where it would be difficult to attach it with screws. So I am using double-sided tape for now which works well. It looks very nice and does the job well.I debated others that were less expensive, but this one is very well-made of metal and very sturdy.

The side apartment for my house gets a ton of rain due to lack of overhang. I tried a few different products to help with the rain covering my Ring Doorbell and they ALL obstructed the view. This product is small, but it does its job by protecting the Ring Doorbell during the elements, and there is no obstruction or loss of camera space. The rain is kept at bay and I couldnât be happier with this product. Itâs a little pricey for a small piece of metal, but itâs definitely worth it, especially if you consider I tried 4 other Ring Doorbell covers. Definitely give it a shot.

Stops Glare from Exterior Light
I used double sided exterior mounting tape to install it above the ring doorbell. I didn’t want to make holes in the siding. Stops glare at night from light fixture.

Does help with sun
During the morning hours, the house gets hit with sun light. The rays do get in the way when trying to view the camera. Once the sun is at its highest point and during the late hours, we don’t have problems with rays interference and we are able to view the camera much better. This has definitely helped us resolve the problem. This was very easy to install and does stay on with no problems. We are able to see the camera much better specially during the morning hours when the sun hits the house where the camera is located. Do recommend this item if you are having any difficulty with sun or any obstruction that may cause problems viewing your camera. Also, this helps a lot during rainy days as well.
