Horrible life span
One of the few RGB Edison WiFi bulbs available, and very expensive, so thought they would be quality. The app control works well, maintains connection, and integrates well with Alexa. Unfortunately, the bulbs fail after about a month of daily use. I purchased 7 of these bulbs, which was very costly. All of them except 1 have stopped working. The first couple of times I reached out to the seller and they sent replacements, but those failed after a month too. Iâve given up on this item and will just get white LED Edison bulbs instead.

These look great and work great with Alexa, we have ours on a routine and theyâre on from sunset to sunrise 80% power until 10:30 and then bump down to 30% we got them in August and Iâm now having to replace them, (burnt out at in April) they integrate easily and color change is easy enough in the Alexa app unless you want to change the color white then you have to use the smart life app which is easy enough. If itâs in your budget to spend $20 ever 8 months get them, theyâre great but if not might want to look for a different bulb

Great idea and the colors are easy to setup. Scenes arenât as intuitive but they can be programmed with some work. The bulbs look great but the performance is trash. 1 bulb stopped connecting to my network after only a couple weeks. It was replaced by the company. Iâve had 2 other bulbs fail in the last year. They donât connect and Iâve factory reset both which only gets them working again for a couple weeks but wipes all programming and I have to set everything up again. I even put a wifi router directly next to the fixture that they are in and they still fail to connect.Theyâll sync to music but only from the microphone on the phone with the app open. They do not sync with music played through speakers in the house directly.Bottom line: do not spend money on these. Pay a little more on a different brand or get a light that works well but doesnât have the decorative Edison filament. These are not worth the frustration.

Best part…. I didn’t need their app. It loaded easily to the Smart Life app.Photos from left to right show the brightest setting, lowest setting, red, purple, and a video of one of the scene settings.I am using it on a screened-in porch. Bulb is meant to more of an accent light. It’s not meant to light an entire room. However it is bright enough for me to read by with the ceiling lights turned off. Not sure if I would want this in a table lamp meant for reading, but up above my head & shining down is perfectly okay.

Thought my electrical was broken and had an electrician come, he solved my problem by replacing my light bulb with another company smart bulb and worked. These never produced anything and never worked I just didn’t know it, return window is closed waste of money, look elsewhere.

Didn’t dock a full star but I’d dock a half star for the app and alexa integration not being great. With alexa, I can’t dim or click the lights as a group in my dining room table even though I have 6 of them. I can tell alexa to do things to my dining room, but I can’t easily do it in the app without asking alexa to so that’s a bit annoying. But they look great and get a lot of complements!
