    One strip not working.
    Edit:So I requested for a replacement yesterday and it came today. I put up the lights and it’s amazing!!! I love how they quickly got me a replacement. The lights are amazing!!!Ok so I got these and I was really excited to put them in my sisters room. I tested them before doing too much. They worked. But once I was done putting them up on ceiling one of the strip didn’t work. I put all the hard work of sticking it up top and then all my hard work went to waste. So half the room is lit up while the other is not. But on the other note. The one strip that did work. Is pretty good it’s really bright and the adhesive is ok it’s not that strong. While putting them on they seemed to unstick. I had to go over it again and press. I did everything according to the instructions. Apart form the one strip not working and my hard work going to waste. It’s great. I wish the one strip worked. I want a replacement so we’ll see. I am not going to undo all my hard work and return the whole thing. I will just return the strip that isn’t working. I just need that one strip that’s missing.

    Bright lights perfect for kids.
    Used this for around my son’s queen bed and headboard. We had extra at the end. The lights are bright and easy to install. This is the 2nd time buying these, as we moved my sons room. Once you pull off the sticky side doesnt stick annymore. The first one lasted 3 years, would have lasted longer. The colors are bright and vibrant.

    Defective output on a two-output IR receiver – update: IR receiver is fine
    Product was not working correctly (one of the outputs on the IR receiver was defective) so we ordered another set so we could use both of the original strips that were already mounted on the wall. Swapping the receiver outputs to the opposite light strips had not solved the problem. When we got the new light set today, I swapped out the old two-output IR receiver for the new one and the set worked perfectly. I’ll use the old IR receiver to mount a single light strip in another room, and we’ll have an extra light strip for a spare. No refund needed – just wanted to report this defective part of the light kit.UPDATE: While working on installing our older light strips (as reviewed above) in another room, I read the directions more carefully and found that I probably did not line up the arrow on the light strips with the arrow on the input cord. While testing the new set that we bought, I used the older IR receiver and found that both IR output cords do work. Sorry for the mistake. Now I know that the directions are not fool-proof!

    Update- The manufacturer did reach out to me after I posted my this review and they have since made the issue right. I am satisfied with the replacement lights.We purchased these several years ago and were very happy with them until some of the lights lost the ability to change colors. We ordered the same lights again this March and ripped down the old lights and reinstalled the new lights. They worked great for 4 months and suddenly they started to glitch and now they won’t turn on at all. Very disappointed that we will have to rip these all down so soon and either replace or patch the walls and repaint.

    Everything you ever wanted in a strip of lights!!
    Easily put up, this is in my son’s room and he did it himself (he was 18 when he did this). The various different color variations are amazing and beautiful! If you want it all blue, the entire room is blue. Green, Red, White, Light blue, etc. You also have the choice of pulsating lights (I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a seizure disorder). I do recommend this product. Super bright, super vibrant, the remote works fantastic, you’ll be happy with this.

    Disappointed
    Worked for about 2 months and now they flicker all the time. After being one for about 30 minutes they flicker and change to a red/orange color. The AC Adapter burns to the touch and it seemingly works different in different outlets? (Doesn’t seem to be an outlet issue, other things works just fine). I have to physically unplug the strips at night else they will flicker (even in the off state using the remote) until they eventually turn back on. I’m very disappointed and have tried troubleshooting but I can’t figure out the problem. I will most likely have to buy new ones from somewhere else and replace them.
