    Quit working
    These lights worked great for about a month.Won’t turn on anymore.Update: I have changed my rating due to the seller sending me a replacement which arrived in a timely manner and is working fine. It was the cord that plugged into the LEDs that was bad.

    Beautiful and simple
    My daughter put these behind her bed frame and it adds a simple color to the room. I love them as well. We just couldn’t figure out how to have our Alexa Dot work with it but the app works great.

    Works with hub
    Firstly, I am using this plugged into a USB hub since for some reason my TV only has one USB port. It works perfectly in the hub, I had a heck of a time finding one that would power just through the hub at my tv size. Secondly, my TV is a 65 inch. This backlight could work on a little larger TV because there are leftover lights and room on mine. So far, the sticky tape attached has been sufficient and everything is still adhered to the back of the tv.This automatically turns on when I turn my TV on and…eventually…turns off when I turn my TV off. It takes about 10 minutes though. There is always a delay but it does turn off. This might be a problem in a bedroom if you want to shut your TV off and immediately have it dark to go to sleep. In that case you would need the app to shut it off right away, but then, you are going on your phone and opening the app as an extra step.As I just alluded to, a truly annoying feature is that there isn’t an actual remote. You have to download a stupid app and use your phone to change the colors/brightness. This does avoid having a line of sight issue for the remote where a part hangs down from the bottom of the TV to communicate since you are only using Bluetooth from your phone, but being at the whim of the manufacturer for a specific, dedicated app is annoying. There are many color options and a bunch of weird, multicolored predetermined flashing options that I have no idea why anybody would ever use. Supposedly there is an option where it will pulse to music or sound but I haven’t been able to get that function to work on mine.This product fits my needs, it does the very basic things I need it to but I’m not impressed.

    Good adhesive, good range Dimmable
    I’ve put a few different brand LED strips up. These have good holding quality adhesive. I was also impressed that they can be dimmed significantly.

    The only color that works on half of the strip is blue
    After a few weeks of working well I noticed I could no longer see all the colors. I have one piece and half is behind my flat screen the other around my closet. The closet only lights up blue while the tv allows for blue, green , and red. Sadly I’m forced to order another brand and download another app! Thanks a lot for a faulty piece of equipment.
