    OMG LOVE THIS!!!!!
    I have had so much fun with the different colors and turning them off and on with my phone, couple of times even scared my daughter when she was in the kitchen an I was “asleep” in the living room she screamed so loud it was so funny another time she didn’t know I changed her light bulbs out in her room and she was watching a movie no lights on an I started turning her lights on and off with different colors you could hear her scream and then she yelled MOMMMMMM STOP I’M OVER IT! But they are outside now being beautiful Christmas colors.

    A pain to set up, easy to use
    OK, I hated setting these up. It was super fussy about not wanting to connect EXCEPT on a 2.4GHz connection. I have a dual connection, but it still refused to connect. It wasn’t until I finally went onto my router account and set up a separate “guest account” that *only* allows 2.4GHz that it grudgingly refused to connect. And it did this for every bulb I connected. Threw a temper tantrum about the connection, even though by then I had the separate account established.Once they were finally set up in the app (which was a breeze to set up), it linked right up with Alexa, and from there, they’ve all been a piece of cake. I love being able to customize the warmth and brightness of each bulb. Now I have a bunch of different lights around my home set up in different groups, so I can very easily set up whatever lighting levels and colors I want for whichever occasion, just by telling Alexa what to do. :)I still have several bulbs left over from the 12-pack! I plan to keep out a couple as backup, but I do also have a few more places I think I’d like to have them.They price out to about $5 each, and Daybetter claims they’ll last for more than 15,000 hours each. That’s over 5 years of 8 hours a day usage. I consider these to be a good value, and I recommend them (after you get past connecting them to the app).

    Light bulb and app needs improvement
    2 lightbulbs came defective didn’t want to add to the app or WiFi I proceeded to do the troubleshooting as described in the manual but didn’t work, also I downloaded the app on my wife’s phone but 2 people can’t be log in at the same time. Call Amazon to contact the vendor Daybetter so we can get a replacement of the 2 faulty bulbs but the representative from Amazon said that we either return the hole box of 12 light bulbs so they can send a replacement or to return the box to get a full refund I explained that we have tall ceilings and that was to much work he said that are the only 2 options, I can’t imagine 3 month from now if one of the bulbs get bad I guess there is no comunicación with the vendor Daybetter , if I can give them 0 star I definitely will this bulbs are not worth the trouble.

    One of the Better Smart Bulbs
    Honestly, no pun intended, but I have a lot of smart bulbs from a lot of different companies and while some of them are a pain in the you know what I’m happy to report that DAYBETTER is not on that list. Why, let’s start with the bulb. Any bulb, smart or not should have information printed on it that helps you identify what the bulb is and where it came from. In addition, since Smart Bulbs are considered devices, they should be UL listed. Smart bulbs that follow FCC regulations will probably work much better than bulbs that are not. The user manual is available directly from this light bulb.Next is the APP. You could have the fastest car on the block but if fill it with bad gas it’s gonna run like crap. I do not use the app so I am giving this app high marks because of how easy it connects to my Alexa. Correct there are many ways to connect bulbs to Alexa the best is a direct link through MATTER. The next best thing is through an Alexa SKILL. And finally the least favorite would be through the device selection. I’m not going to go through these in detail but DAYBETTER App connects through an Alexa SKILL. Bravo.When I decided to get an Alexa device and use it to turn light bulbs on and off I was happy just being able to do that. The colors, the routines, and all the other things were not important to me however, these are colored light bulbs and you need to know the truth. The app that comes with the light bulb will have more features, and more colors than using that very same bulb with Alexa. I will give just one example. Your color selection under the app is unlimited but from Alexa you have just a dozen or so. And some of those colors may not work very well. Orange may look white yellow may look green yada Yada Yada. Regardless me personally I’m not bothered. I’m 60 years old and the lights in my skylights are programmed to come on one hour after sunset at 50% brightness in the color orange. And that right there is cool enough for me.Cheers

    great installation
    I wanted to try this out and see about saving on electricity. What I love the most about this is that there is an app to control the lights. I am able to turn the lights off especially while I am out. You can also use these as a security measure by turning on the lights while you are out. This is worth the price value.

    These light bulbs are so much fun! Having a set of 12 is fantastic—I can set them up all over the house and create the perfect ambiance in every room. The color options are endless, and it’s so easy to control them with the app or voice commands. Highly recommend if you love playing around with lighting and setting different moods.

    After Connection Issues – All Seems Great
    I had some initial setup issues, and it was a pain. A combination of user error, weird fan light fixtures without switches, and other odds and ends. Because I’m trying to manage lighting in a house that already has some “quirks,” so it just wasn’t a straightforward setup. So far, I mostly use Alexa to run them, because no one wants to deal with another app. But that may change. Overall, I like these and it’s my first experience trying “smart” bulbs. I’ll be back to add more information as we use them more.

    Don’t buy if you have a long wifi password
    The app sucks, won’t connect to wifi or Google home because it just freezes repeatedly. Won’t allow my wifi password to be entered because it’s longer than 20 characters. Dumb dumb dumb bulb.
