    No HomeKit Secure Video
I recommend the Vocolinc Opt instead. It has HomeKit Secure video. This product does not. This product is an okay camera, but does not work with HomeKit Secure video and does not do HomeKit Identification (like people or packages). Really disappointing, the listing is misleading in this way and should clearly state this does not work with Secure Video as most people buying into the HomeKit ecosystem expect it.

For my use with HomeKit it works great.
First off I had zero problems with the unit itself or the setup procedure. It was easy and straight forward. I have two in my house up and downstairs to keep an eye on my young kids. I bought these solely because they were supposed to integrate with Apple HomeKit which I can report they do. For my uses they work fantastic. Always online and quick to connect and show love images. For me cheap and easy = happy.

    Works good just as advertised.
I bought this mainly incentivized by the big price drop. This used to be close to $200 but now at $50 was worth it. Actually bought two. The HomeKit integration is great worked perfect no issues setting up or anything. I just followed the directions and in a few minutes had a fully operational HomeKit indoor camera. The downside are a few items it lacks or more accurately need to be done manually. The motion detection notifications work great with the exception that there does not seem to be a simple way through scenes or other automations that I can find to disable notifications when we are home and to enable them when we go out or go away. I don’t need to get them when we are home. Same for switching from night vision to regular vision. I obviously would like night vision enabled at night but not during the day. Right now this is a manual process. Beside that it is a great camera, the motion detection works great, the picture quality is excellent and the HomeKit integration is great.

    Not able to turn on/off
The camera is nicely designed, solidly built but missing major features. The app is really buggy but should get better with updates.Missing major features:Can not be remotely turned on/offIt can not be turned on/off when primary client is on the same networkIf you are away it is not possible to remotely control power to the camera. This is not that big of a deal until combined with it can not be turned on/off when you are connected to it through your home network.Summary, it is not possible to turn this camera off through their app or HomeKit, remotely or on the same network.Hopefully this will be corrected through a software or firmware update.

Super camera, but alas it won’t be supported by manufacturer any further
The 180 degree field of view is excellent, the picture quality is adequate at 1080 resolution, the motion detection works very well, and recordings are easily accessed. I equipped it with a $128 gigabyte micro-sd card. The caveats are twofold. First, you need the Omna app to turn motion detection on and off, but the app will not allow you to set schedules or events for toggling motion detection. The Apple Home app can’t do anything other than read the live stream from this camera. You need the Omna App to access recordings.Second, the manufacturer stated that it will not upgrade this camera to support Apple’s secure camera recordings. So, it is the end of the line, if you buy this camera. I was disappointed by this development. Hopefully D-link will change its mind.

Stops working with HomeKit after five months
There must be a serious flaw with this camera. I bought two and both have stopped working with Homekit. After talking with D-Link tech support, I was given a RMA number and told to ship it back (at my expense-$17 the way they insisted) for repair. They sent me back a reconditioned one.Since then, the second one stopped working with Homekit. Both stopped working around five months after I purchased them.I’ve used Logitech Circle cameras for years without problems and bought theses at a time when Amazon had no stock of Logitech cameras. I guess I should have waited.UPDATE: The reconditioned camera D-Link sent me to replace the camera I sent them AT MY EXPENSE under their warranty service quit working after three weeks. I now have two dead D-Link cameras and no desire to spend a fortune returning them so that I can receive their inferior reconditioned products in return. I followed the D-Link’s comment left here earlier and called their Tech Support number only to find out I have to send each camera to them separately at my expense. Let’s add this up: it cost me almost $20 to send in the first camera and the replacement camera sent me worked for only three weeks. I have two cameras this time meaning I will be out $40 for shipping their poorly designed, inferior and nonfunctional camera back to them. At that point, I would be out $60 with the prospect of the returned camera working another three weeks.I think D-Link’s warranty is set up to discourage their customers from using it. After all, they know the reliability of their products and probably need something to discourage customers from using it.I no longer want to purchase or use any D-Link product.

    I totally recommend
Camera with great quality, even with its night vision. Of course when you want to zoom in the quality is not the same, but it is what it is. Very easy setup and I think it worth its price. I didn’t have any problem with my WiFi connection, it’s seems to be a very reliable device and I’m super happy with it

This product was discontinued making it useless.
It’s useless I can’t even updated it and I keep getting notifications to up date it. Also I can’t even use the micro sd card. All you can use it for is a motion sensor. So if you need motion sensor then this is for you. I wish I would have been told this was discontinued back in 2021. Oh yeah and there is no app for it. So if you’re thinking of getting this I would advise you to.
