Nice Sun/Rain Sheild
This shield is a nice compromise for the Ring Pro2 doorbell. The newer cameras have an incredible field of view, so this restricts how far the shield can protrude without interfering with the picture. Mars Outpost has done a good job with the sizing. The shield is 3D printed with decent resolution, but expect to see the steps in the product. For those not familiar, 3D printing is done in layers, one upon another. This results in “steps” especially on curved surfaces. The thicker the layer, the bigger the steps. Ideally, you want a very small layer. The printers are more expensive as that thickness goes down and… it takes much longer to build something as it will have more layers. I took a few pictures so that others can see. It is acceptable, but I know the steps will accumulate dirt in no time.

It’s PERFECT! Finally a weatherproofing item for Ring Pro that works.
The only product I’ve tried/found that works. Visor shown on camera but it’s unobstructive to the view. This item appears 3D printed and I wouldn’t have it any other way. It fits perfectly on my Ring Pro 2 and creates a good watertight seal for where the wires are. I am very pleased. Have yet to test during sunglare but sure it will stand up to expectations.

Great hoofer Ring Pro
Gave the hood a good star rating however it does not fit a Ring Pro2 device? It will work with a Ring Pro, but not Pro2. The camera hits the top of the hood and mounting holes do not line up. The hood does fit my Ring Pro without an angle bracket.Would be nice to have a hood for the Pro2 that accepts an angle bracket as most installations have.Hopefully keep working on the design, otherwise nice hood.

Our security light was washing out the picture on our Ring Pro doorbell at night. As you can see by the before and after pictures, it has completely eliminated the problem. Easy to install and is a perfect fit for the doorbell and, whilst you donât buy these for their looks, it does compliment the Ring doorbell. Overall does exactly what was required – and easy 5 stars!

I have a Ring Wired Video Doorbell Pro (version 2) and it has a slightly curved back. This cover have a flat plate that does not cover the back completely, which will cause rain or water vapour to accumulate. The shade is good to shield the camera from glare from street lamps. It is a bit too wide for my door frame and I have to return the product.
