    I thought they didn’t work but they do work so updating my review
    OK previous I thought these didn’t work, but I was so frustrated. I just left them sat there plugged in even though it gave me a red no plug light icon. Well, the next day I looked and the battery was fully charged to 100% and they’ve stayed charged so this does work beautifully great price really long cord. I love it.Previous review now wrongI’m really disappointed. I bought new ring cameras thought these would be great so they’d be plugged in and charged all the time but instead I keep getting error messages that they don’t work that my batteries running low. I’ve tried everything.So if you need to charge your batteries or all the time I suggest looking for an actual ring productReally disappointed

    Description is Wrong – Vendor uses small tricks to increase profits.
    Do not expect this kit to work with your ring Stick-up Outdoor Camera in Plug-in mode.Power supply provided is 0.6A not 2.0A as advertised.USB Extension cable does not provide a weather proof fitting as advertisedI was able to plug the Ring camera in and use it as a “Solar” supported battery install but there is not enough power provided for the Ring Outdoor Stick-up camera to run in Plug-in Mode. USB Extension Cable is 22G and introduces additional line losses over it’s 30 foot length. Required additional parts “o-ring” to make the fitting weather proof.If I had not already cut the cable to route through a small hole in my house, I would be returning this kit.

    Powers my Ring Stick Up Cam Battery (3rd Gen)
    I used this to power a Ring Stick Up Camera (battery powered, 3rd Gen). The 30ft cord plugs into the camera, using the round power connector. The other end of the 30ft cord plugs into a USB-A type charger (included). Also included are plastic cord holders that include small tacks to keep the cord tight to the wall, these worked well for routing the cord to the nearest outlet! The kit includes a few plastic clips with foam adhesive, I use one of these but feel it will not last because the little clips seems undersized compared to the cord thickness.One thing to note: This charger is recognized as a solar charger in the Ring App, with the camera in “battery mode”. When I switched to “wired mode”, the Ring App indicated the camera was no longer connected to power, even though it still charged the battery and powered the camera. I switched the camera back to battery mode and manually adjusted the camera video and snapshot settings for longer recording length and increased snapshot frequency.Overall, this does what I needed it to do… keeps the camera powered and charged without using a larger, more visible solar panel. This wired charger kit maintains a more concealed appearance.
