great look for our camper
Great backsplash visual. If the bare metal ones are used as backsplash around a sink they should be clear coated. Mine are starting to rust where water splashes. I will either wax seal them now or a clear coat of some kind. I should have clear coated before install. Very user friendly, easy to cut and glue in place. really dresses up the camper kitchen

Beautiful appearance
The product was ready to work with. I used tin snips for cutting tiles. In order to cut openings for outlets, I drew the location of the outlet with a dry erase marker and then used an awl and punched many small holes along the lines. Then I cut the holes with the tin snips for a perfect fit.

Awesome product! Finish is great!
I have purchased 3 different types of panels from American Tin Ceilings. I use it as a backsplash to cover areas that had old tile or Formica glued to the wall previously and I didnât want to replace the plaster/lath or drywall. Just prior to this purchase, I ordered direct from the company in order to get one of their Artisan colors. I really like their product and how nice the finished project looks. Their Artisan colors are much more expensive, and Iâm not as impressed with the finish on it. The Artisan color we got was easy to scratch and lose its finish during installation. I am very impressed with the solid color finishes – they hold up very well during installation and after.

Nice Product
Very nice product EXCEPT factory installed nail holes are not consistently placed in matching locations in the corners and some had 2 corners with holes and some had 4 corners with holes. They are not in consistent locations so they match up. So I have a few exposed corner holes because I had to put nail grid pattern in a new hole that I drilled. This is my only complaint. Still not a big deal. We drilled and added nails every 12 â and on the ends of the ceiling we stapled with a 1/4â wide narrow crown staple then covered with a small wood crown moulding. Love the finish, color and material thickness but be careful as the finish scratches easy even with your finger u can see micro scratches. Easy to work with and cut. Would buy again.

High quality product, goes up easily.
Real tin ceiling tiles have a lot of advantages over super thin flexy pvc or foam panels. You will need a good pair of tin shears, then it cuts like butter. I used air staple gun and it went up easily, over popcorn ceiling. Very good look plus since these were off white powder coated, cream color, it was obvious what good quality the paint coating was. Slipping while using some tools could hardly scratch the panels. Very nice. If you want a fine looking ceiling that is a DIY for the average person, here ya go. Nice that it is Made in America also. This is my second American tin ceiling . Miami James

Looks great as a kitchen backplash
I installed these for my kitchen backsplash. I also got a metal sheet cutter that made clean cuts at the cost of about a 1/4 inch strip but no bending like you get with tin snips. I used up a bunch of old spray paint I had for the backs to keep rust away. Then used copper and bronze metallic spray paint on the tops. Then, I sprayed several coats of polyurethane varnish on top of that. I used construction adhesive to mount them to the drywall . They look great, are easy to clean, and were a whole lot less expensive than tile.

Easy to work with
I cut these down to fit as panels into door and side frames of a cabinet I built. They came in excellent condition and cut easily with a rotozip. Looks great in the project and was easy to work with.

Thin metal but quality stamping.
Used for wall mount. Very thin metal, dents very easily.
