    Works well. Happy with it.
    The outlet is tiny, which is good to avoid blocking other power sockets. I was able to easily program the remote to control multiple outlets, after reading the instructions. The remote has a flat bottom to sit stably on a table. This product is much better than an older remote outlet I had.

    We use this for our patio string lights instead of plugging and unplugging the extention cord whenever in use. Just attach to your outlet, plug in whatever item you are using, then install the button where you see fit. Ours is by the back door inside so its an easy on/off button. Highly recommend !

    Let There Be Light!
    I absolutely love this product! It has made my life so much easier! My mom has a lamp which she insists on keeping on top of a TV tray behind her end table at the end of her couch. This lamp is the only one in a large family room. It is almost impossible to reach without contorting into crazy positions. I saw this product,read all of the reviews (yes, others really read them and appreciate them), and ordered it. Installation was super easy (just plug the device into your outlet, plug your lamp into the device, and turn it on by hand, and you’re done). Then you have light at the touch of a button on the remote switch. You can even carry the remote to any part of the large room, and it works! What a great device! I wouldn’t be without one. It would also be a wonderful device to have on a nightstand beside your bed to shut off your bedside lamp before falling asleep. I highly recommend this product.

    Great! But don’t use for high wattage items
    I loved this thing so much I bought another as soon as I plugged it in. Great for mounting near the bed for turning off a faraway lamp. Both were either already paired with their plugs, or else they paired automatically. I didn’t have to follow the pairing directions, and they don’t mix up with each other. The plug is small and doesn’t block other outlets. The remote is small, the large single button is easy to find in the dark, it’s functional and looks nice. No loop or keychain to hang it on a hook, but that’s what double-stick tape is for. It’s very lightweight, so the tape is holding fine.The only problem I have with it is, with the second one I ordered, I intended to control a pretty standard garage heater like you get from almost anywhere for $20-30 bucks. 1500w. It did the job for a day or two, then quit. Frustrating when pre-warming a room, and I only noticed it half an hour later when I did NOT come into a warm room. I unplugged and re-plugged it and it worked again. The second time it failed, it was right in front of me. I went to un-re-plug it again and it was really, really…REALLY hot. So the cutoff must be a safety feature. I’m grateful it did that instead of burning my house down! But lesson learned. No high wattage appliances. I can’t seem to find any info in the packaging or the listing with a wattage limit to its capacity, but fyi, 1500 is above it!Both are plugged into reasonable applications now and still working great.

    Convinced my Mom we should get this for her pedestal fan in her bedroom to replace her old broken remote switch. It took less than a minute to plug in and pair the remote to the plug. Super simple process and it works like a charm! No more fighting with her fan in the middle of the night anymore haha.Bonus is that we didn’t realize it came with a double sided foam sticky so that you can mount the remote to something if you want to.
