    Does the job, tightly
    I have a Philips Hue Lightstrip that I want to extend so we can locate it more aesthetically. This 16-foot extension did the trick, even though the Lightstrip is not listed in the description. I figured it’s a universal extension for all the outdoor Philips Hue lighting, and yep it is. The end by the lightstrip connected easily and tightened down nicely, giving me confidence that the o-ring will seal properly. The other end by the power supply took some pushing and swearing to get it connected. The connectors are keyed with a small square registration at the bottom. I think the square on this cable may have been slightly large so it didn’t slip right on. But with a little effort I was able to get it together, and I believe it’s screwed together enough that the o-ring will seal properly. Anyway, I’m very excited to have the extra length on my lightstrip to position it along our walkway.

    Works with compatible connectors
    It looks like an M19 power connector with a threaded connector for water tight connections. If this works for you will probably depend on having enough power through your transformer. The longer the cable, the more loss you’ll get so make sure you know a bit about these considerations. No problems so far.

    This cable dedicated for outdoor usage has very thick and durable insulation with multiple layers to ensure the weather resistance and waterproof outdoors. The connector for Philips Hue lighting has full compatibility for connection with good seals. The length is sufficient for most of application scenarios. It is a tough cable for the power supply to the lights.
